Crazy to think the same band's music (more or less) were 2 people's favorite show nearly half a century apart. Pink Floyd is an all time great. If I'm doing another Voyager Golden Record and sending representative music to space in hopes of first contact, I'm nominating Echoes and I don't care that it's about 12 hours long.

I’ve never been their biggest fan, but it’s hard to argue that they’re ‘’overrated’’.

Honestly, except for a few bands, the vocals are way down the list on how I judge them. I mostly focus on the composition. Ultimately, someone can be on key but just not be your style. A lot of people aren't into Geddy Lee's singing style, but if you think Rush sucks, you're a moron.
