Maybe a little revenge for the way gramps was treated a hundred years ago? Settle the ancient score and get free energy to boot. The fact that Ukraine must be sacrificed, by the millions, is just the price to be paid. Your arguments are getting more desperate & discombobulated by the day. At this point I'm past ridiculing you and genuinely fear for the safety of you and yours. There can be no other reason for you to act like this.

You are laboring under crushing delusions and racial bigotry toward Russians. Russia has won this conflict. The Ukrainian loses are devastating. These are facts. NATO is not going to get involved because they know they cannot win. Russia has superior capability and the greater will to see things to a victory. Deal with it.

That their incompetence is legendary? Russia has shown its superior capabilities? They are superior at failing to take objectives. Superior at failing to have properly equipped and trained forces. Superior at having to eschew secure communications because they destroyed the infrastructure they rely upon. Uh huh. I can see why you adore them so, they are as superior as your own, pitiable self.

May 2, 20223 yr It's a fairly long Twitter thread but the above captures much of it. Also summarized: Background briefer: Pentagon is confirming reports that Russian Chief of the General Staff [analogous to the US Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff] Valery Gerasimov was in Izium last week, but does NOT confirm that he was injured, as some stories had indicated. Pentagon is not in a position to determine why he was visiting, though official says it's possible it was for oversight purposes, in part because the Russian Donbas offensive has been very "cautious" and "tepid" so far. Russia has conducted attacks out of Izium, but the manner in which it does so has been often to take an area, declare victory, and withdraw, allowing Ukraine in many cases to retake the territory soon after. Russia is being steadily pushed out of Kharkiv, which the official attributes to an "able job" by the Ukrainians. [Separately, pro-Russian telegrams appear to confirm this, as Ukraine continues to retake territory in that area.] Mariupol is getting hit with more and more "dumb bombs", causing planes to have to fly closer to the surface to deliver payload. Russian troops from Mariupol are leaving towards the Northwest, likely in a move to try and join the larger Donbas offensive. Pentagon is NOT confirming the video of bayraktars hitting the two patrol boats near Snake Island, though acknowledges that they've seen the video. US has now transferred 70 of the 90 howitzers promised to Ukraine, half of all rounds as well. Attack helicopters have not been delivered but will be delivered soon. Another 50 Ukrainians will be trained on artillery systems this week, bringing total who have been trained to 220. US is also training 20 Ukrainians on the new ghost drone loitering munition systems. No fundamental change to the number of Russian troops in Ukraine. US believes they have 93 BTGs, up from 92 last week. Many of these units are not at full strength.
May 2, 20223 yr Unconfirmed reports that Putin is undergoing surgery for cancer. Thoughts and prayers.
