Key is to season with lemon and a sweet element - used sugar in the raw, but chopped dates work really well. Also added some diced potato and white bean to the cabbage, onions, garlic and bell pepper, along w a spicy fresno chili pepper which gives it a bite. Substituted in lean chicken breast on the bone for the short ribs. Already cheated and helped myself to a bowl. Toasty is finally right about something for once in his life. I had a beef cabbage soup for lunch today. A brisket sandwich too. Looks good.

That looks like what was in my sink when the compactor got jammed and backed up. Remember, a person eats with their eyes first.

That and the imminent collapse of their Donbas Not-zzz leave them little choice. Look for the fascists in the State Dept. to pivot to China v. Taiwan. Maybe they can force the Pentagon into a hot war in Asia.

May 14, 20223 yr Kharkiv is a sideshow. That city is 1.4m pop. The Russians have no where near the troop concentration to attempt to take the city. The main battle is in the Donbas. Once Popasnaya was taken, the flank around Kharkiv was no longer vital. It's pretty clear there's no major battles going on around Kharkiv. The Russians execute tactical withdrawals, the Ukrainians move in and declare a successful "offensive." We heard the same thing around Kyiv a few weeks ago.

At least you're honest about what's really going on here.

All good.
