I don’t see how Europe is better off with no gas rather than having some gas but Putin has the option to turn it off

a lot of butt sniffers seem very interested in who has the most gas

75% of the world's energy supply is within the Eurasian landmass.

The Europeans want, no NEED, that energy, they just don't want Russia to control that energy. This whole thing is about who controls Eurasia- the Anglo-Saxon vermin or the native peoples.

That's certainly a contingency worth planning for. I assume that's why Biden sent troops and Jets to NATO countries to bolster their defenses should the war expand. Biden showed some Prudence with those moves.

Let's look at the map for a moment. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are now NATO members. They Border Russia. I don't believe these countries should have been permitted to Join NATO. I also believe that Biden should have stated Ukraine will never join NATO and end this crises. However, if Putin has expansion plans, I believe these three countries would be at the top of the list. First we have to see if he will invade all Ukraine or not. But then NATO would be required to defend them and Putin is aware of that. I don't think he wants war with NATO a war he can't win.

From my layman's perspective Russia's Military capability doesn't match the USA. Just numbers. Their tanks and personnel carriers look outdated. Their jets look like 4th Gen.

Poland and Romania are also part of NATO. Putin would be insane to invade them. That would be WWIII. Probably the end of civilization given they have nuclear weapons.

And are we considering allowing Finland to Join NATO as well?

NATO is an open door organization. It's not up to the US alone to deny membership. It's beyond weakness to deny membership to appease Putin. Appeasing dictators never works.

Finland also wants to be part of NATO. Their goal is membership by 2025.

Which native people? The ones living there right now, or the ones with historical claim to the land, or the ones who will write the history books?

If Washington was shelling Mexicans in New Mexico, Mexico would be justified in protecting innocent civilians.

Those objecting to Russia sending forces to protect innocent civilians are supporting genocide.

If actual Mexicans were rising up in New Mexico, rejecting US sovereignty, and actively fighting a military campaign against US forces the US would be justified in shelling them.

If Mexico decided to invade to support these "Mexican separatists" they would be invading the US.

And you're still a Kremlin reject. How far down the pecking order did you have to fall to get assigned to a US Football team's non-official message board to spread Russian disinformation and propaganda товарищ?

Sadly, they had to go no further than Tucker Carlson and pals. They do it against their own for free.

Well, if you have an Open Door Policy you better be prepared to face the consequences of that policy. If Finland is admitted into NATO that will be the start of WWIII, IMO, given how much of their country borders Russia. That move would be akin to putting Russia in a Box. I don't believe Putin would stand for that. NATO expansion into Eastern Europe is playing with fire.

Is NATO really wanting to go war with Russia over this?

If Washington was oppressing Mexicans in New Mexico, shutting down radio and TV stations, outlawing the Spanish language, and economic blockade, the Mexicans in New Mexico would be justified in seeking autonomy.

I know it's difficult to deal with opinions not authorized by your oppressors when you've internalized their commands. Truth seems revolutionary to broken minds.

And you would be on the US side of the Mexico border welcoming the invading armies in, right?

Then when your New Mexico town is part of Mexico, you'll be fine with that, right?

Not only that, I would be advocating for the execution of the oppressors in Washington.

Anyone have a source they recommend to follow this story? My go-tos are usually BBC and AP but open to suggestions. Seems to be even more BS to sort through than usual with this story.

Start with anything posted by Abra.  The key to knowing whether or not your source is legit is if they mention the effectiveness of Ivermectin somewhere on their site.

Didn't you link RT the other day? It's Russo centric but at least they invite critics of Russia regularly. You're not going to get that with the BBC or AP. Airing the Russian perspective is considered treason.

You do that now, since you don't consider them American, like you,  They are British loyalists masquerading as Americans.

Dude, as soon as Yanukovych was ousted and tucked tail back to Russia, pro-Russian separatists in Eastern Ukraine started seizing control of the local government by force. They've been fighting a hot war with Kyiv ever since.

Ukraine responding to Russian terrorists holding regions of their country hostage by making Ukrainian the state language is not exactly making your point.

I don't believe so but either way a quick search shows they're a state sponsored Russian news source so gonna go out on a limb and say they're probably not the most unbiased source out there.

You would think rational people would do just that. However, when you're used to dominating the world and living off the labor of others, the mind becomes warped and all you can do is scheme to impose slavery on others.

RT is the trustworthy source that invites critics of Russia...

This is some next level dedication to trolling

Abra is totally down with Spanish being the state language of New Mexico.

Yanukovych was overthrown by the CIA with the help of neo-notz groups. The puppets installed immediately began a campaign against the Russian speaking populations. What do you expect people to do besides secure their own neighborhoods?

They didn't just make Ukrainian the state language, they outlawed speaking, writing, or publishing in Russian. Many of the people in Donbas speak only Russian.

It's true. They have British critics on several times throughout the day. Can you say the same for the BBC? Hell no. You get the approved state propaganda 24/7 from practically all western media.

State-owned media is "Russo-centric" eh? 🤣
