Here's the truly hysterical part -- the current situation is ideal for the US. Russia's military is engaged and has been seriously degraded to the point that they have to bring in foreign troops. We a

Oh really?

What's Russia going to do? Send it through the non existent pipelines from eastern Siberia?

They were already close to maxing out their capacity from East Siberia to China and that was only 700k bbls day via pipeline and 900k bbls a day via ship.

They can't even increase output from East Siberia until 2025.

So, no.

Yes, really.

Did you read the article?

Russia: exports down 3 million barrels per day.

India: Increased purchases of Russian oil to 65 thousand barrels per day.

Yeah India sure is gonna save the day for Russia. And again with China, there's no capacity to increase supply.

Things don’t move instantaneously Bill. Like the oil tankers that carry the black gold, course corrections take a long time to maneuver but the momentum once you pick up speed is enormous.

That article is from March.

India has surged as a buyer, but Urals crude is being sold at a 35% discount to find markets.

Previously Urals was about 3-4% less than Brent.

What's not easy to determine is overall production.

Oil prices are just his backhanded way of supporting Russia.  Not like we haven't been watching this dog perform the same tricks for decades.

You don't even have to go back decades, just look at TEW's posts in this thread alone. It's been a gold mine of self-owns by him and abra but they just continue on and act like nobody remembers what they've said or that there's no way to go back and dig them up.

That's my point. Russia is in a position where they need changes instantaneously and that's not going to happen.

Let Russia Try to demilitarize NATO. That's the best way for the Russian Military to be completely destroyed.

Ukraine war: Russian state TV claims Nato has started ‘World War 3’

A prominent Russian state television presenter has claimed World War III has already begun due to western arms support for Ukraine.

Rossiya 1 presenter Olga Skabeyeva said Russia's so-called special military operation in Ukraine was over and "a real war has started, World War III”.

She added that Moscow now had to expand its goal of "demilitarisation” to cover Nato countries.

yeah, russia has totally demilitarized the ukraine. 😆

Russia appears to be demilitarizing themselves.

Or at least the oligarchs are making sure the military is useless.

Does he have to?  No, but he does it anyway because it's sterile and he likes the taste.

Milking goats is honest work.

It's just a bit weirder when you prefer milking billy goats.

Probably some.

That doesn't mean it's not the right thing to do.

Probably more than less.

Depends on the perspective and goals. I have issues with it priority wise.
