OH, Abra can trust that if Russia invaded either Sweden or Finland prior to them being part of NATO, pretty much all of NATO would still come to their aid.

Here's the truly hysterical part -- the current situation is ideal for the US. Russia's military is engaged and has been seriously degraded to the point that they have to bring in foreign troops. We a

I'm sure the dozen or so cousin Fing hillbilly Trumpbots they polled would also rather gargle Putin's balls than brush their teeth as well. We will never know because that "website" won't link their source. Meanwhile Pew Research conducted a real poll on it.

Quote

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has led to a dramatic shift in American public opinion: 70% of Americans now consider Russia an enemy of the United States, up from 41% in January. And on this topic, Democrats and Republicans largely agree, with 72% of Democrats and 69% of Republicans describing Russia as an enemy.

Only 6% express confidence in its leader, President Vladimir Putin. In contrast, 72% have confidence in Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

I wish we had our 1980's foreign policy back. I'd love a hardliner like Reagan in the white house.

It's too bad we don't have the type of leadership in the WH that can prevail against the Russians to stop the hostilities and if need be, keep the Ukrainians in toe to get this resolved quickly and cleanly.  You know, the way Ike did in Korea after he took office.

Nothing like a nice war to keep things churning along for that military industrial complex.  A war that would be SOOOO good for the world if it ended ASAP.

I know, right? I mean, if only TRUMP were in power. He was SO tough against the Russian.

Wow, you really think it's justified that the Russians are going to put a British soldier to death?  I guess I can assume you think it would be justified if they were putting an American soldier to death?

Fight as a mercenary, die as a mercenary. You think this is some f'ing game were you get to reset when things go badly? Anyone, Americans especially, should expect to die when captured as a mercenary. That's the reality in this or any conflict. If you play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

No, I think it's war.  But I think any American with even a shred of patriotism/decency wouldn't call Russians executing an American "just deserts".  You're a disgusting MFer, Abra.

This is not America's war. If you're stupid enough to fight without the protections of the Geneva Conventions, you deserve what's coming to you. There's plenty of reasons for outlawing mercenaries. I think it's disgusting to kill civilians for any reason and to do it for money is especially disgusting. 15,000 civilians killed by 404 forces, including these mercenaries. Yea, death is too good for them.

U.S. Lacks a Clear Picture of Ukraine's War Strategy, Officials Say

Quote

U.S. officials said the Ukrainian government gave them few classified briefings or details about their operational plans, and Ukrainian officials acknowledged that they did not tell the Americans everything.

Of course the U.S. intelligence community collects information about nearly every country, including Ukraine. But U.S. spy agencies, in general, focus their collection efforts on adversarial governments, like Russia, not current friends, like Ukraine. And while Russia has been a top priority for American spies for 75 years, when it came to the Ukrainians, the United States has worked on building up their intelligence service, not spying on their government.

LOL!

Yea, right. The U.S. has been gathering every detail in real-time from all sorts of high-tech snooping gear about the situation in 404 from the beginning.  Nobody has a better view of the battlefield than the U.S., with maybe the exception of Russia. We're supposed to believe that they don't know that 404 is being trounced? It's Zelensky's fault for keeping them in the dark?

Yet another debacle and time for the blame game. It may be too late to die a hero, Volodymyr.

Russian President Vladimir Putin carries a suitcase filled with his own excrement and urine out of fear it might reveal too much information about his health should it fall into the wrong hands, according to reports.
