Most likely.  It's the same reason I still have my AOL CDs.  You never know when they take them offline.

I just save them in a folder on the c drive with a flash backup.  Still like using Word 2003 over new versions, although nothing beat the old Word Perfect.

Here's the truly hysterical part -- the current situation is ideal for the US. Russia's military is engaged and has been seriously degraded to the point that they have to bring in foreign troops. We a

Wrong, only being placed in reserve for the winter months if needed.  Meanwhile they are doing everything to get additional gas reserves in place before winter.  Regardless, sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward.

You're wrong and winter will show you that.

The greens are burning coal. COAL!

What's next, wood stoves? How about water mills?

Stunning.

Not to get too caught in the weeds, but I don’t think Putin believes himself to be a fascist. This is a former KGB agent who’s goal is basically reunification of the USSR.

Obviously he’s a murderous authoritarian, but fascism comes with a LOT of ideological baggage to which Putin just doesn’t ascribe.

Helps when Russian inflation is 17%. Meanwhile they have no way to substitute imports for a vast number of critical goods, including electronics and equipment to repair vehicles.

What also isn't outlined is that most of Russia's oil profits were concentrated in the first few weeks of the war. India and China have no pipelines with Russia, all oil has to be delivered by ship. The velocity is significantly lower. Revenue (which isnt profit) from oil was significantly less on day 100 of the war compared to day 15.
