Here's the truly hysterical part -- the current situation is ideal for the US. Russia's military is engaged and has been seriously degraded to the point that they have to bring in foreign troops. We a

Did you  used to live in CA? Or am I confusing you with another poster?

Yeah I dont look at what those say, often it's not where the person actually lives.

I travel a lot for work*.  In fact, for a 5 year period I lived on the road with only a suitcase and a cell phone and the rest of my belongings were in a storage locker.  So I would stay at the client site instead of going "home".  So when I speak of my time in San Fran, it was during a 2 year period working for a client out there.

*Pre-COVID and baby girl.  Now clients want less travel from us and I don't want to go anywhere.

WRONG!  Its just not economically feasible source of energy anymore.  If that changed, you can bet coal companies would be shipping it overseas.

No, they wouldn’t, because to increase exports would require an increase in production, and that has to go through the regulatory system.

Another billion or so to be syphoned off under the cover of shiney, new outrage.

The actual problem would be port capacity more than anything else. There’s nowhere to send it out.

I’ll try to remember that you live in Sweden too.

True, but it wouldn’t even get that far. By the time all the lawsuits are done the war will be over.

Depends on how long this will last. I am not optimistic to and end my Christmas.

I think spring/summer 2023 is more realistic.

Rosneft  "spokesman" (chief propagandist) Mikhail Leontiev accidentally speaks the truth about the actual fascists in this conflict.

The thing with the grad launchers is that you're essentially spamming an area. You fire it on an area and hope that you launched enough to hit a few things of value.

HIMARS is a precision weapon. You can eliminate an entire compound with a few rockets.

Basically like an amateur chucking darts at a board by the handful versus a pro lobbing a volley of darts.

It would take many, many years to actually open up new coal mines. The lawsuits would be endless from the GSE crowd and then you have the problem of getting mines operational. Then as Vikas said, the logistical issues.

It’a a pointless endeavor from a practical standpoint.

If he’s 20 stone(280lbs), Trump won the 2020 election.
