Educate us It wasn't the perfect time because Russia was still reworking their BTG concept and needed to cut their teeth in Syria before they moved in on Ukraine. They figured that the world was destabilized enough post COVID and with the looming recession, and they got Europe on their gas to the point where they could do it. Granted the Afghanistan pull out was botched and added to their list of reasons, but it was not the sole reason. They invaded Georgia in 2008 under Bush, who was much more trigger happy than Trump. Trump didn't get the concept of how international relations work and how to employ the military. As evidenced by how he conducted international relations and tried to employ the military. Ukraine was happening no matter what. Biden wasn't the reason. It was because Putin's window was closing.
