Tactical withdrawals are the correct call when outnumbered. Russia prefers to cede territory to save the lives of national guards and reservists. Once the regular army arrives, we'll see if Ukraine can sustain the "offensive".

Going to need to make room for two more flags soon mate.  Two that hate your government and military and who have a history with you.

Truly, you are the gift that keeps on giving.

Your pravda is appreciated, comrade.

As always, we take it as if it were a grain of polonium.

The other day I found out news that I was debating on posting, but i got confirmation that one of the soldiers I was training was killed in action. I was closest to his unit as I had spent the most time with them versus any other unit. It's a tough thing, and what makes it tougher is that his older brother is also in the platoon, and they his body is in such as place as they cannot recover it.

He was a good man. Had a wife and children. One thing I remember about him is that he was always smiling and cheerful. The kind of guy that everyone liked.

I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later, but it's not easy. I've been in touch with his unit commander and his brother.

Ish sucks. F Russia.

Before advancing, gunners of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launch shells filled with leaflets with instructions for the Russian military on how to surrender.
This is reported in the story of military commander Oleksandr Osovskyi, Ukrinform reports with a link to the  Facebook page  of Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar.

"Postcards call for surrender and instruct how to do it. There are 1500 rounds in each projectile - this is a reminder to the occupier that Ukraine will soon return its land, and they have a chance to lay down their arms and survive. Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shoot in different directions, so that as many occupiers as possible received the message," the story says.

So the regular army has been sitting out of this "special operation" the entire time?

The Russians withdrew, for whatever reason, from Kharkov region. NATO was obliterated at Kherson.

Anyway, aren't you in Ukraine? You should know this.

Yes, yes they did.

Apparently the Ukraine met them with overwhelming force and your people, well, they didn't fight much.
