I was dying to get a job when I turned 14; I wanted to buy a Les Paul, but these kids have no hobbies or ambitions. We really do have a parenting crisis in this country that I think is and will be the root cause of many of our problems.

While true, I tested as "very liberal" in my H.S. civics class, but I and all my friends all had jobs by the time we were 16. And, like Van said, what are their less liberal and conservative parents doing?
