If Ukraine is winning the war without our intervention then there is no reason to enter a hot war with a country that has thousands of nukes and would be forced to use them. Russia has serious problems long term: their demographics are awful even by European standards. Biden is actually doing a good job here. Fight the proxy war and leave it at that. Pressure their economy. Lean on them is all you have to do. Even if you presuppose that we will have to fight them now or later, which is of course a false dichotomy, it would be to our advantage to fight them later when they have an older population, supply chains aren’t as strained, Europe has greater energy security, and our technological advantage is even greater.

Look at that, I agree. I still want to support Ukraine until Putin is kicked in the balls back to '91 borders.

Yeah, I don’t think any sane person wants Russia to win. But on the other hand, it’s not worth risking a nuclear holocaust. Particularly when sitting back and just sending equipment and intel seems to be doing the job just fine.

I think it goes both ways...if you think Putin is mad enough to push the button on the way out, now is the best COA. If not, the tail spin of the country will continue and you continue the Cold War 2.0 with them but don't spend outrageously. Russia of today can't even compete with the depths of the Clinton era military strength.

Its nonsense Dude, if the US gets in a conventional war with Russia, the chances of it going nuclear are way greater than even. Basic Russian military doctrine is tactical nuclear escalation. They know they don’t stand a chance otherwise. We’d basically be forcing their hand.

Dude you ain't done with being a total f'ing **** on this subject? Putin has f'ing zero pretense for nukes without an invasion of actual Russia. Not this BS, sharpie extention of Russia. Real Russia. His own people have made it really, really f'ing clear.

He’s annexed territory and has made it very clear that nukes are on the table. You people are Fing nuts if you’re seriously advocating getting in a direct conflict with Russia. Even if it doesn’t go nuclear, you’re talking about the most extreme economic panic in history at the mere possibility. Thank God Biden’s handlers aren’t as retarded as his voters, which is really saying something.

October 1, 20223 yr Russia is blustering about with nuke talk because it's all they have. Never trust Russia. Russia knows going nuclear would mean Moscow gets destroyed and becomes a radioactive wasteland. The West would not support actions pushing conventional military into internationally recognized Russian territory. And there's no way Russia risks itself getting nuked over some BS "annexed" territory in Ukraine.
October 1, 20223 yr Sobering and gut wrenching account of what's happening in Eastern Ukraine, told by a foreign combat volunteer on the ground.
