They’d rather we support a man who’s killed thousands and threatened to strike our homeland with nuclear weapons. Unless you fully support Ukraine, youd rather support Putin. Theyre making it a divisive political issue because, like you, their brains are thoroughly destroyed by Trump and they dont know how to function. I mean, that's exactly what guys like Gaetz and Massie have voted to do. Then you got Tucker going on TV and making mountains of excuses for Putin all through Feb and into March. And do I even have to bring up all the dumb ish Trump has said? Don't get all pissy because some members of your party don't even know who our enemies are. 3 minutes ago, Mike31mt said: Theres the libertarian advocating for proxy wars. October 7, 20223 yr A little backstory to the Starlink thing... Earlier this year, the US and global donors paid Elon for Starlink terminals. He's always denied it and said he did it charitably. But there's receipts that prove otherwise.

Establish and enforce a No Fly Zone in Ukraine? 3. Launch a retaliatory nuclear strike against Russia? 4. Invade Russia to try and over throw Putin? 5. Nothing more than Sanctions and U.N. resolutions? If chemical/biological weapons, Operation Desert Shield type of response. If nuclear weapons, either the above or boots on the ground. 54 minutes ago, Mike31mt said: This is not "our fight"...that is warmongering bullish from someone who definitely wont be doing any of the actual fighting. October 7, 20223 yr There should be legitimate debate in this country about just how far into this the US needs to get. Its kind of essential to our way of life that alternate view points be heard when youre talking about potentially serious warfare thaylt directly involves us To posture this as some sort of political "Youre Either With Us or Against Us" bull ish is dangerous and un-American. But that's exactly what the scum Lincoln Project is all about. The sooner they are relegated to irrelevance, the better for all of us.

I agree there should be legitimate debate about our level of support, but there are people advocating no support or frankly supporting the other side. My personal view is that the Biden administration is getting this very right. Send money and weapons, but avoid any direct confrontation between NATO and Russian forces. My view is we continue this policy until Russia is expelled from Ukraine. People who want to withdraw all support for Ukraine and leave them to be run over -- that's completely nuts, IMO. We're in the Goldilocks scenario here by funding and arming the Ukrainians so they can defend their country while also tying down an adversary.

Now be a good boy and tell me that is warmongering bullish from someome who definitely won't be doing any of the actual fighting. If they use chemical/biological, I'd ramp up sanctions on Russia, drastically increase aid to Ukraine and, depending on the severity, possibly institute a no-fly zone. If they used a nuke? We're in a new paradigm. We'd have to consider more direct engagement at that point.

I have a pretty strong opinion about these issues. Technically WW2 wasn't our fight either until Pearl Harbor, but it should have been. Millions of lives would have been saved. Similarly the genocide in Kosovo wasn't technically our fight either, but we made the right call and intervened. It's not warmongering BS. It's our role to be "shining beacon on the hill" for freedom and democracy in the world. If you want to live in an isolationist cowardly country, go move to Canada.
