Defend Ukraine as mush as possible, stopping short of provoking the use of nukes. You guys dont seem to grasp that. 12 minutes ago, 20dawk4life said: I get it. I seriously doubt Ukraine and the USA are allowing some regular space x shift workers who were just trying to establish internet for people in rural areas to suddenly control satellite communications for their military. Surely strategic positioning of these satellites, and information broadcast through them are going to be confidential. Not for Ned with his computer programming degree to know. I dont think these people have signed up for the change in job assignments. From working on launches to expand internet connectivity to thwarting Russian cyber attacks on their systems flying over Ukraine. If I was any of those regular Joes working for starlink, Id be worried about when Russia was going to poison me and disappear my family. Thats not the job they signed up for. Musk sent these satellites there because Ukraine asked and it was a noble thing to do. Musk expressed some concern about his wellbeing during that time. Russians tried to shut those things down, and starlink people immediately rewrote code to thwart the attack. US military personnel spoke about how our military was going to actually need to learn from starlink how to do these things so efficiently. Likely, it was very soon after that point that US paid for all of the equipment and no doubt took control of those units that are serving Ukraine. Do Ukraine and Russia agree on that? You can't Dunning-Kruger your way to understanding Ukraine. Neither can Musk. I have generally been a fan of Musk, but the guy has gone full re-t*rd at this point.

You dont get my newspaper. There are none better then the Hazleton Standard Speaker. Dunning-Kruger is happening all over the place in here. You guys arent seeing the forest through the trees. The obvious facts are right in front of you. Musk is helping Ukraine as much as he can, but stopping short of what he and the US feel can cause nuclear war. Same as the US has done, stopping short of supplying longer range weapons, or creating a no fly zone. People arent attacking the US and calling that a bad look. But they hate musk so they are upset he has a line in the sand that he wont cross.
October 12, 20223 yr Musk has always been a weird dude prone to odd outbursts. Probably on the spectrum somewhere. No doubt brilliant.
