This kind of ignorance and arrogance permeates the decadent minds of Western slugs, such as yourself. You're walking into a trap constructed by your own hubris. "If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”- Sun Tzu No, Russia is a once great power fighting to return to the glory days (imaginary) of the USSR. It attacked a neighbor, and is doing so poorly, it has to throw ill-trained and ill-equipped conscripts into battle. Ukraine didn't roll over, and Russia has been proven weak, but you still crow. Crow more, little thing, crow more.
November 8, 20223 yr We should definitely defer to Russians when it comes to weak militaries, they are the expert in that field

There is some truth to the fact that the US military was overused over the past 2 decades with not enough modern equipment procured. It’s also true that recruitment has been horrendous the last few years — you can blame it on anything from higher competition in the labor market, wokeness politics, a soft generation, or any of a bunch of other issues, and there’s probably a bit of truth to all of them. But, here’s the thing — the US military is only weak when compared to its own incredibly high self standard. Head to head against other nations, it’s still the heavy favorite. Heritage is right in one sense though — the US needs to either get serious about rebuilding its military or it needs to be realistic about its military obligations. Of course, the latter scenario means countries like France, Germany and Japan suddenly re-arm in a way that hasn’t been seen in a long time. Maybe it’s better for China and Russia (and the rest of us for that matter) that we don’t go back to the days of Napoleon, Hirohito and funny mustache man…

Russia is only scary to weak nations like Syria. Putler is finding that out. He doesn't care though, he will sacrifice hundreds of thousands of Russian men for vanity. The question is when the mothers of Russia will have had enough.

Got plenty of MRAPs to fend off IEDs, high tech drones that shouldn’t fly through contested space, tired airframes and an aging navy for the effort.

November 9, 20223 yr Russia suddenly announces its readiness for negotiations "taking into account current state of affairs" What current state of affairs? The fact that the Russian military is getting its ass kicked? That MAGA was rejected by voters and Biden was not weakened by the elections?

To be honest, it's not outside of the realm of possibility. Everyone in this part of the world drives like their a**es are on fire, they're getting chased by the police, and they're late to getting laid, all while not wearing a seatbelt. They make a Mexican taxi feel like a five star safety rated Volvo standing still. Once i was in a car on a four lane undivided highway. We were passing a car that was passing a truck that was passing a bus. On a curve. I can't tell you the amount of times here i went to go put my seatbelt on for the driver to put their hand out and and tell me no. Of course, even that, I'm still only 50/50 on it being an accident.
