Have you not heard about the Russian advances in Donbas? A dozen or so villages liberated in the past few weeks. 

The situation around Bakhmut continues to deteriorate for NATO. The conditions there are horrifying for NATO forces. Standing water in trenches, shortages in supplies, especially food and ammo. Without electricity, field hospitals are having trouble keeping medicines and blood plasma from spoiling. Disease will be sure to follow. Soldiers are resorting to building fires at night to stay warm, exposing them to artillery fire. There's drone video of Ukrainians executing their own men for not following orders.

While the military situation is bad for Ukraine, when the civilian population begins to suffer things will become much worse for the regime.

It’s funny that you think them having the power knocked out is going to make them want to allow Putin to take their land and make them second class citizens (Assuming Putin doesn’t just have them killed).

Glad she is on her way home, but at the same time angered by what we gave up for an athlete.  She should receive a major tough lashing over her sheer stupidity in the first place.  We gave up a major arms dealer for her and it may wind up putting large numbers of lives at risk.  Many of the athletes in this country are just complete morons.  She shouldn't be celebrated here at home.
