What the former German leader stated tears down the last remaining bit of the "friendly" mask some Western countries put on with Russia. In the eyes of some Western countries, Russia is just a diplomatic and political "alien." Moreover, under the influence of Washington, some view Moscow as a so-called threat due to its huge military power and political system that does not meet the "Western standard." As a result, these countries have never stopped suppressing Russia since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

So they did something smart that helped them kick Russia’s a**?  Oh no.

Squandering diplomatic credibility to gain an advantage is the sort of thing weak, feckless governments do.

Strong, upstanding nations use diplomacy for genuine negotiations toward concrete agreements.

modern diplomacy

So much for the western propaganda about Russia being the aggressor in this conflict. Countries all over the world are witness to the blatant lies and hypocrisy of western governments.

Oh fack off. Russia was the aggressor in 2014 and in 2022, and every year in between.

Russia is making imperialist moves in a post imperial era, and shocked when land grabs aren't recognized by the international order.

It could try to make social and economic progress for its citizens through meaningful reform, or yah know... Not. And instead choose to commit its dwindling population of male youths to a war the west is committed to teaching Russia a lesson over.

Glad we agree. Russia is pathetic. Couldn’t just leave Ukraine alone and everyone saw it coming. Russia is a joke.

The U.S. coup in February 2014 cause huge protests in eastern Ukraine. The Russian speaking civilians in the east were attacked with war planes and artillery in April 2014. A civil war ensued and Nuland's Not-Z regime was defeated. Germany and France signed on as guarantors for the implementation of the Minsk protocols. They lied. They never intended to secure the peace. Instead, they used the diplomatic process as cover to stage a war with Russia.

Merkel is on record. This might even be a war crime.

At the very least, it proves Russia was right to come to the aid of independent republics in Donbas. This is a war of defense by Russia.

Bakhmut is nearly cleared. Kramatorsk up next.

Then it's on the Kyiv to take out the Not-Z puppet.

Time to bring this back

It has to be the former. I hope.

It's the latter.

I think you severely overestimate people's intelligence and ability to deal with the flow of information (and misinformation) from so many sources nowadays.

CVON isn't real life.. but there are real life Abras and Lyncheds out there breathing our air.

Hey you dumb sheet Abra, I thought Italy was abandoning Ukraine?

Ukraine attacks a military base inside Russia, and Russia responds by sending drones to strike at civilians:

All 13 were intercepted by air defense.

They are clearly buying an ally to push the NATO boarder up against Russia.  Clearly an act of aggression by NATO.

The problem is the internet being a bell curve. Most people use it to look at videos of cats. On the one extreme you have people using it in the pursuit of knowledge. On the other extreme the village idiots obtained their own echo chamber.

It's mental illness with a splash of stupidity. These people need psychological help and they're not seeking it out. Instead, they turn to the dark corners of the internet that agree with their own preconceived notions. Which only reinforces their paranoia and worsens their mental illness. Left unchecked for several years and the results are cases like our friend abra here.

That's just a more diplomatic way of saying Abras an idiot.

Hope you're keeping safe man.

How not surprising from a country that arrests protesters and sends them to the front lines.

"Beijing has reportedly banned the processors to Russia produced by Chinese company Loongson, in a potential setback to Moscow's war effort in Ukraine.

Sanctions imposed since the start of Vladimir Putin's invasion have driven out many western companies from Russia and forced Moscow to look for new suppliers for crucial electronic components, including those for its weapons."

In my day to day life, I just never come across people like this so it's hard for me to believe they exist. The only place I see this epic level of stupidity is on here.

It's like a group coping session in here.
