Hasn't Turkey been pushing for peace talks for a while now? If anything, this seems like Russia begging for support.

Those regions remain poor mainly because they've been the victims of colonial powers stealing their resources for decades. That's changing as China's giant economy and Russia's massive commodities are put to use in building and developing these countries. The American consumer is about to have a rude awakening. If you think the world is going to continue taking worthless paper in exchange for their labor, you've got another thing coming. All over the world countries are developing alternative financial and payment systems outside the dollar.

Seretse Khama created the playbook, but corrupt African governments choose a different path. blaming colonialism is anti-Western propaganda. China's falling into the middle class trap at the same time its demographics have set it up for a tremendous collapse due to its one-child policies. Russia is a 3rd world country with oil and nukes. It literally produces nothing that the world values outside of oil. And this war has exposed its military industrial complex as a fraud and farce. your take is laughably ignorant. mixed market economies within free democratic societies have and will continue to trounce your dictatorships. 6 minutes ago, Abracadabra said: How many military bases does Russia have outside of Russia? The theft of resources always occurs in the shadow of military might. Sometimes, the military itself steals the resources. Right now, for example, in Syria, the U.S. military is blatantly stealing Syrian oil and grain. Colonialism is always associated with military occupation, idiot. https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/us-occupation-smuggle-98-oil-tanker-trucks-from-syria-to-ira

The West absolutely loved buying up Russia for pennies on the dollar. Then Putin stepped up and put an end to the exploitation. He booted out many of those oligarchs and defanged the rest. The west hates his guts because of it. Over the ensuing 30 years, Putin has rebuilt the Russian military to the extent that it can defend it's interests against an overrated U.S. military.

December 15, 20223 yr Reading the posts, I have come to one conclusion. I was right to never do acid. That stuff apparently will keep messing with you for the rest of your life and you'll have no idea what's real.
December 15, 20223 yr Patriot missiles? The Houthis crude missiles have already shown it's a piece of junk. Besides, how many systems are they going to send to Ukraine? One? Two? Five? Ukraine is a huge country, there's no way they can cover enough to be effective. Even if they did, the Russians are going to take them out pretty quickly. These systems are extensive and static. You're not going to be moving them around to avoid targeting. Even further, how many Patriot missiles would Ukraine need in order to shoot down the missiles Russia fires in a month? Russia is firing about 150 missiles every month. The system usually fires two missiles to ensure a hit on a single incoming target. That's 300 missiles per month. How many Patriot missiles does the U.S. produce per month? The Russians have said they will destroy these systems on sight. That means the personnel operating them will die. Who's going to operate the complex? How many personnel are involved? Hello, Mission Creep.
