What else do you want? I know it sucks to watch Russia roll over a sovereign nation but there's a reason why he picked Ukraine and not a NATO member country. 

Sorry but this is nonsense, Trump was just a tower owning TV host when Georgia started the process to join NATO in 2008 and Russia did what it's doing to Ukraine now by recognising the majority ethnic Russian parts of Georgia as independent states, the only serious NATO politician to turn up was Condi Rice who flew in a couple of months later to tell Georgia to sign the ceasefire and stop defending it's own territory.

The fact is NATO has been playing chicken with Putin by expanding eastwards into former Warsaw Pact and ex Soviet states for years and then not following through when Russia says enough, this time Biden and all the EU leaders didn't even pretend they were going to risk their soldiers if Putin invaded Ukraine and here we are.

What Putin has done is reprehensible a disgrace, and I feel sorry for Ukraine and it's people, but the price of lasting peace with Russia was leaving a neutral zone of non NATO countries between it and Europe proper, instead NATO Fed around and now Ukraine, like Georgia, is about to find out.
