March 16, 20232 yr Energy prices down almost 20% since 2 months ago. Bad news for our resident russophiles and Putin apologists. I'm sure Tucker will have some cute little story tonight to explain how this is so unfair to Russia and why this is all America's fault.

March 16, 20232 yr yeah, the only people reporting that are Russians. given the frequency with which Russians lie, I'm going to go ahead and call BS until proven otherwise by a reliable source.
March 17, 20232 yr Trump and Tucker's best friend is a war criminal. International court issues war crimes warrant for Putin https://www.yahoo.com/news/icc-issues-arrest-warrant-putin-151806368.html THE HAGUE (AP) — The International Criminal Court said on Friday it issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for war crimes because of his alleged involvement in abductions of children from Ukraine. The court said in a statement that Putin "is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of (children) and that of unlawful transfer of (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.” It also issued a warrant Friday for the arrest of Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, on similar allegations. The move was immediately dismissed by Moscow and welcomed by Ukraine as a major breakthrough. Its practical implications, though, could well be negligible.
March 18, 20232 yr What's wrong with all their other fighters? Something happen? Quote Wagner chief announces plans to recruit 30,000 fighters by mid-May From CNN’s Uliana Pavlova and Tim Lister egeny Prigozhin, the head of Russia’s Wagner private military group, announced Saturday that he plans to recruit about 30,000 new fighters by mid-May. Prigozhin also claimed Wagner recruits about 500 to 800 people on average each day — and sometimes up to 1,200 per day. "It is possible that this number of recruits may decrease after some time; however, by the middle of May, we plan that the number of fighters of the unit will increase by approximately 30,000,” Prigozhin said in an audio message published on Telegram. Last week, Prigozhin said Wagner had opened recruitment efforts in 42 cities in Russia. Wagner has focused its attention on recruiting mercenaries from sports clubs, boxing gyms and other gyms, as well as men who have previously completed six-month contracts and could be rehired. Wagner has also recruited a small number of foreign fighters. CNN previously reported that Wagner said it stopped recruiting from prisons in January. The prison recruitment campaign was well-publicized and widespread, netting as many as 40,000 fighters for Wagner last year. But many of the private military group's recruits are believed to have been killed or wounded in heavy fighting around the eastern city of Bakhmut.

Let me point out the blindingly obvious: the Flanker was equipped with missiles and a gun, if they wanted the Reaper downed, those would have been used rather than running into the robot. One of the things I learned in water survival training was that I did not want to eject over water, especially cold water and risking doing that by deliberately colliding with the Reaper is way down on the list of stoopid pet tricks for any fighter pilot with half a brain. What happened here was a repeat of the Chinese fighter running into the EP-3 back in 2001.

Yeah, from the video you can see pretty clearly it was trying to dump fuel over the reaper and he just pulled up way too late. The whole reclaiming the wreckage thing was just them trying to save face.
