April 28, 20232 yr It's definitely not beating anybody. Russia's offensive has yielded paltry gains. They've thrown everything they have at Bakhmut, emptying Russia's rural backwaters and prisons for cannon fodder, and they STILL are bogged down there. And every other location they tried a breakthrough resulted in fields of dead Russians and lost equipment. Vuhledar and Marinka are death slogs for Russian forces. Avdiivka has been shelled for months and yet Russia is rebuffed each time it approaches. And all Ukraine is currently trying to do is hold while they prepare for their offensive.
