July 20, 20232 yr I wonder how Russia feels, know that Ukraine seems to have so many willing to help, while they can't even field trained troops with the proper equipment. I hope they suffer the tortures of the damned, those pathetic Putinites.
July 20, 20232 yr It's funny to me how we no longer hear about how sanction proof their economy is. The ruble is lower than it was pre invasion and continues to drop. It's current-account surplus collapsed by 93%. And if you wonder if the people are starting to feel it, car purchases, a strong indicator of how people view the state of the economy, have plunged 75%.

He planned for this!

July 24, 20232 yr Looks like Russia avoided a solider shortage. Quote Putin signs law extending age limit for military reservists From CNN's Anna Chernova Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on Monday that raises the age limit by five years for certain categories of citizens to remain in Russia's military reserve, as Moscow intensifies attacks on Ukraine. The amendments to the Federal Law "On military duty and military service," published on the official portal of legal information, increases the age limits for various categories of servicemen, including soldiers, sailors, sergeants, foremen, warrant officers and midshipmen. For soldiers, sailors and sergeants, the age limit increases from 35 to 40 years. For foremen and warrant officers, it increases from 45 to 50 years, and for midshipmen, it increases from 50 to 55 years. Additionally, the law extends the maximum age limit for those in the mobilization reserve. The new rules will take effect on January 1, 2024, with a transitional period until January 1, 2028 when citizens in the reserve will be gradually transferred to retirement.

We said that from the outset a million times over. The sanctions were going to cripple Russia within 3 years. That's 2 more until Putin gets hung by the balls in Red Square! There is one and one thing that can save Putin and that's a Trump win in 2024.
July 24, 20232 yr Sanctions to work within 3 years? That's sort of like the 3 day war, isn't it? Or like the 5 day offensive to cut the land-bridge and take Crimea suddenly becomes a slow grind through difficult obstacles just to reach Russian defenses. Recasting failure with new objectives is a sign you're losing, dopes!
