If the Ukrainians had any sense and were fighting for themselves, they'd retreat to the west bank of the Dnieper and begin building their own fortifications and minefields.

Unfortunately for them, this isn't about the Ukraine and the real goal has been NATO threatening Russia from a naval base in Crimea. The U.S. fascists have yet to give up on that objective given such low costs. You know, money (and Ukrainian blood) well spent.

They're not going to reclaim lands Russia stole from them by retreating behind the Dnipro loser.

Maybe not right away. But, if this is really about Ukraine recovering lost territory, what's the rush? There should be no timeframe associated with that objective. Wouldn't it make more sense to erect formidable defenses and then force the Russians to expend man and material trying to breaking through. The time it would buy them could be used to really train and arm enough divisions to make a legitimate counter attack in the future.

As it is, Ukraine is exhausting itself and the patience of it's sponsors banging it's head against a brick wall.

Meanwhile, Russia continues it's build-up. If or when the Russians percieve a point of weakness, they may go on an offensive of their own and smash what's left of a depleted force.

Game Over.

to the extent that there is a rush, there's probably two factors:

1. Ukraine's manpower is not unlimited
2. Political considerations as Putin has duped not only idiots like you, but some number of mouth breathers on the right who have traded in their man-cards and suddenly become pacifists who believe we should be ok just ceding land to bullies, and not seek to hem bad imperialist actors like Russia into their borders so their corrupt stink doesn't spread.

Manpower is limited so obviously the thing to do is throw thousands of ill-trained, ill-equipped men into fortified positions over and over.

If the Ukraine project were going as planned, trust me, the warmongers on the right would be ecstatic about the prospects of next turning their war machine against China. Their problem with you leftist warmongers is that you're cutting into their stash earmarked for Chinese bloodletting.

russia will soon be west ukraine. get ready for it.

Yeah youre just not a man if you dont send your entire paycheck to Ukraine

Why we never sent this money and weaponry the last few times this happened, who knows?  But now its a test of bootlicking manhood.

You and Abra are becoming the same person, both pathetic.

You really need to learn how the US economy works. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-04-27/slowing-us-economy-propped-up-by-ukraine-driven-defense-splurge#xj4y7vzkg.

It is a self-serving doctrine, we don't care about other countries outside of the traditional allies and that is why the US hasn't done this whenever a global conflict props up. It is a self-serving proxy war against one or the country's two main foes and it fuels money into the military industrial complex which is our largest national industry. It create jobs and ruins Russia's military at the same time. Aside from not paying taxes, where do you want your precious tax dollars to go? Wall to keep out the Mexicans? Space Force?

No one is questioning your manhood. Your intelligence, however, now that is questionable.

Yea, rightwing warmonger. Where better to spend your tax dollars (this is actually credit, dope) than slaughtering millions of innocent people half way round the globe?

It's not like American infrastructure is crumbling or elderly go without care or people are struggling to make ends meet, come on. There's mass murder on a global scale to keep our one industry pumping.

F'ing death cultists!

How has this benefitted the US taxpayer??

The Democrats literally laughed at even considering Russia a major geopolitical threat, but now no price is too steep to pay, for what??

You guys are useful idiots.  Congrats

Btw he literally did question the manhood of anyone who opposes endless spending.  So your entire post is basically wrong and nothing but virtue signaling

"virtue signaling" do you and your tribe of Trumplicants speak in anything other than the "broadly general but not clearly understood labels" language?

It benefits the US taxpayer because tax dollars are being circulated back into the US economy into a sector that sustains and creates jobs. Is that too "woke" for you? Actions that support the military industrial complex?

Oh should I make it more like your word salad above?    Self-serving proxy war sounds great just on the face of it.  What could possibly go wrong?

You guys are all neocon warmongers.  Youre making fun of me because I wont be a shill for the military industrial complex

No, we're making fun of you because you're a bish who's shilling for a genocidal dictator.

Let me ask you a question.  If the far right got it's way and everyone stopped aiding Ukraine tomorrow, what happens next?

You are not shilling out for anything. You don't get to choose how much or where your taxes are spent. You pay taxes by law. The representatives in the place you live help decide how they are spent. You want to change your tax basis? Move to a different state.

When you write "word salad" I read "dumb dumb cant' keep up and I need to dumb it down for his dumb a$$"

I'll try to keep the concepts simple, words small, and remember that I am conversing with a self-righteous, ignorant, dummy.

To be clear, he doesn't really care if his taxes go to the war machine.  He was happy to pay for an unprecedented amount of drone strikes under Trump.  He just thinks Old Man Bad.

He goes on to say Russia is capable of rewinding the clock 800 years to restore the Russian Empire. "We can rewind it by 800 years more," Mardan continued. "You finally realize what this is all about is the restoration of a Russian nation, the restoration of the Russian Empire! This is what the celebration on September 30 is all about."

Imagine wanting to own the "other side" so bad you resort to full throated support of a brutal oligarch and one of the US's oldest enemies. Pathetic.

Now you're being honest about the imperial nature of U.S. foreign policy. This same arrogance and hubris is at the heart of the Ukraine conflict- regime change in Russia.

I've always been honest about US foreign policy.  You, on the other hand, are anything but honest.

Now bow down and lick.

No, we're making fun of you because you're a stupid, illiterate rube from West Virginia who makes for an easy mark for Russian propaganda.
