Lol what have I not answered, exactly?

Our govt cant even tell you where the money goes and that's kind of my point.

List what tax dollars in 2022 to Present were actually spent on in that number you stated.

Yes with Dems like Biden it will certainly be our war very soon.

Im an independent.  I was against Bushs perpetu-wars and Im against Bidens perpetu-wars too.

No, it won't be "our war" if you are talking about troops on the ground.  More aid, more equipment, sanctions, etc.   Yes to all of that.

Lol "I don't really pay taxes"

This might be the dumbest most illogical ish Ive ever read on here. Guarantee I pay more taxes than you do.

Youre acting like the entire state pools our paychecks together and divies it all up.

How can you and 4 other morons be this monumentally stupid?

So, your clever responses have been that you think you are older than me, you are likely not, and that you pay more taxes than me, which I am sure you don't. But, that is the gambit of the internet moron, to make the debate issues ones in which no reasonably intelligent person would engage. No, Mikey Turtle, I won't share my age or get into or d*ck measuring contest with you about how much taxes I pay. That said, you PM me your tax return from 2022 and I will consider it.

Also, you still haven't learned  how to use an apostrophe nor do you understand the fungibility of money. Go loob up your pig for the morning deliverance.

No matter who's in charge, it'll be everyone's problem the farther Russia goes.  It's in the interest of the free world to stop Russia's march across Europe.  And Biden's played it so well that while stopping their march, we don't lose any soldiers in the process.

yeah but when biden went there, WE HAD BOOTS ON THE GROUND !!!!!!

Sure its $75B, or whatever the current tab is.

Sorry, do you think the govt gets funding in some other way besides taxes?? Was that your point?

Oh great more incoherent rambling with no point.

You literally said I don't really pay taxes because they come back to my state.   Thats the dumbest thing Ive read in a while outside of WGBs queefing

Moron, there is not a pipeline of tax dollars from WV (or any other state) to Ukraine.

The military support and aid is being delivered in the form of equipment and training. The dollar value of the equipment being tallied is the sticker price.

What we're giving them is the equivalent of a used 1985 Ford pickup that's been sitting in a garage that we're valuing at the original sticker price of $10k.

So not only is the billions we're giving mostly tax dollars paid by our parents for equipment no longer in service, it's not even truly worth what the aid is being valued at.

Training, logistical support, and humanitarian aid are the only items being paid for by tax dollars any of us here have recently contributed.

You are an idiot who thinks our national budget in 2023 has some line item of $100B or whatever in "Ukraine bucks".

You literally don't pay (EDIT federal) taxes. Again, you don't understand the fungibility of money but think of it this way. You give a cup of water away and a cup of water comes back to you in the form the subsidy in the state in which you live. Complain about how your state spends its money. That is where your taxes end up. You literally have no basis on which to complain about how the federal government spends your "taxes."

Thats is That's and Ive is I've. You got in on don't so you are about 33% literate. Above your state average. How was your pig, did it squeal for you?

So you don't know what the number is nor can you give a line item of what you think was spent during that period.  Got it.

A really smart guy once told me it was nearing a trillion dollars, so you're gonna have to ask him what the current tab actually is.

He has no clue what that means and has made the claim we already have trips on the ground.

He didn't think Iraq was our war, either, so he seems not qualified to speak on the subject.

Wait, so Mike's paid $.0005 for the the War in Ukraine and he's outraged?

Dude, if you need the money to cover it just let me know.  What's your Venmo, I'll get that to you right now.

knowing the lack of vertical you all possess, that rim must be at 4ft.

just sayin'

The problem is that populism has the same political issues as does progressivism. In the past, conservatives didn’t really care about what happened on a particular issue so long as their issue was covered. "I don’t care what happens with abortion so long as my taxes are low.” "I don’t care what happens with business regulation so long as we have a strong military.” On the left, they need all their bases covered all the time. "I care what happens on every issue, why are you not catering to my every need.”

Enter the right wing populist movement. There’s no one big issue they care about, because they need their every need met. But the difference is that if their needs aren’t being met, they don’t want anyone else’s needs met. So because they’re not being catered to, they bish a fit over anything that’s not directly related to their needs.

More or less the counter culture losers grew up and started voting.

I have a hard time determining if this new "right wing" movement has any definable stances outside of just digging their feet in against what the "other side" believes/wants. I firmly believe a majority of these rubes would be fully on board for supporting Ukraine in this war if their guys were in charge (because of Fing course you should). Toddler-like behavior. It's insane that these people have managed to make the Fing Democratic party, basically The 3 Stooges of politics, look like the adults in the room on anything.

100% they would. Look no further than how hard they were cheerleading when we hit Solemani with a drone strike. They're all hypocrites because the moron they follow is the biggest hypocrite of them all and they are in lock-step with every single thing he tells them.

I'm 46, but I have the abs of a man half my age so I'm cool with sharing.
