Over many years, the United States has criticised NATO Allies for not spending enough on defence.
Rightly so.
And I commend the U.S. leadership on this important issue.
But things have changed.

All Allies have increased defence investments.
Adding an additional 450 billion dollars.
NATO Allies have committed to spending at least 2% of their GDP on defence.
And many are exceeding that target already.
For example, this year Poland will spend more than 4%.
No other Ally spends more.

With more money, we are boosting our defence industry.

NATO creates a market for defence sales.

Over the last two years, NATO Allies have agreed to purchase 120 billion dollars’ worth of weapons from U.S. defence companies.
Including thousands of missiles to the U.K, Finland and Lithuania,
Hundreds of Abrams tanks to Poland and Romania,
And hundreds of F-35 aircraft across many European Allied nations – a total of 600 by 2030.
From Arizona to Virginia, Florida to Washington state,
American jobs depend on American sales to defence markets in Europe and Canada.

What you produce keeps people safe.
What Allies buy keeps American businesses strong.
So NATO is a good deal for the United Stat
es.

This is what NATO stands for and the Secretary General is a real leader not a chronic liar and Putin brown nosing beotch.

The Russian pilot who defected to Ukraine with a Mi-8 helicopter in August was found shot to death in Spain last week, according to media reports in Ukraine and Spain.

A spokesperson for Ukraine's military intelligence confirmed the death of Maksym Kuzminov to the Kyiv Post but did not provide details. According to the outlet, Russian media reported Kuzminov had been found dead with at least five bullet wounds in an underground parking lot in southern Spain, near Alicante

Russia arrests US dual national over alleged $51 Ukrainian charity donation

Ksenia Khavana faces up to 20 years in prison for treason amid Kremlin crackdown

The White House has said it is seeking information after Russia announced it had arrested a dual US-Russian citizen on treason charges, accusing her of collecting funds for Ukrainian organisations and openly opposing the Russian war in Ukraine.

A Russian legal NGO, First Dept, said the woman, named by the media in Russia as Ksenia Khavana, may stand accused of transferring $51 (£40) to a Ukrainian charity on 24 February 2022, the day Vladimir Putin launched his invasion of Ukraine. She faces up to 20 years in prison.

Next week on Tucker Carlson's Twtter show: "The liberals will try to tell you that 20 years in prison for a $51 donation isn't proportional, but what they won't tell you is how nice the subway stations in Moscow are. I wonder why that is."

Plus the 20 years in prison is built in incentive to not to give enemies of the state, your money.

Win win, really.

Twice In Two Days, Russian Troops Gathered In The Open For Inspection. Twice In Two Days, Ukrainian Rockets Rained Down.

Russian regiments and brigades have a bad habit of assembling their troops out in the open, in broad daylight, just 10 or 20 miles from the front line of Russia’s two-year wider war on Ukraine. Either for training or for inspection by some high-ranking officer.

Ten or 20 miles is well within range of Ukraine’s American-made M30/31 rockets: the main munition of the wheeled High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System launcher.

So it should come as no surprise that, twice in two days, the Ukrainians have spotted—by drone, it seems—and bombarded these gatherings. Reportedly scores of Russians died.

They are not real bright, it seems.

I think I've seen that one. I've watched a few documentaries, some of which have the Soviet side. I want to say HBO did a great one as well.

I’ll be in Lake Placid next week for my sons hockey team playing on that rink.  Always a great time.

The players on the Soviet team said they got complacent from the beatings they were giving, then the coach pulled the best goalie in the world, and that was that.

The Soviets had an all time great team.  They were awesome.  Then we beat them.
