Growing up my parents use to take my sister and I to this basement bar in Catasauqua every Friday run by this old Ukrainian couple. I'm sorry you're cursed with the knowledge of what's actually going to happen over there. That's a heavy burden. Was supposed to go back in 2023 but my grandfather died so I had to help with that. He was like a second father to me. I was living with him helping to take care of him before I left since he was in bad health, and after he died I fixed up his house to sell. Was supposed to go back earlier this year but my kid brother died so I had to deal with that. Helped my dad out taking care of that and doing work at the house and the farm. Even with all that I still felt guilty not being there helping them. At the end of the day, the Ukrainian people are good and worth fighting for. If I didn't continue to help them I would regret it.
