You’re right that Putin didn’t invade during Trump’s watch and surely Biden and Obama made some foreign policy mistakes as well (Biden saying that Russia taking just a little bit of Ukraine was ok - paraphrasing). So there is that. What you are omitting is that the there was a proxy war raging in the Donbass from 2014 until Russia did a full invasion in 2022. They had two Minsk peace agreements during that time which were constantly broken by Russian separatists and Russian soldiers aiding the separatists. AND: Trump did Putin’s bidding by declaring he believed Putin over his own intelligence agency, made statements that undermined NATO, tried to extort dirt on Biden from Ukraine and and and…. The only thing that stopped Trump back then were real Republican and Democrat lifetime government officials, who did their job regardless of their political affiliation. There were guardrails back then which now are being torn down. Why is that?! What Trump is doing on foreign policy is not and never has been the American way of life. Can’t stress this enough - think about your elders and what they fought for… it wasn’t for tyranny!
