If you don’t, I will be furious and it will have grave consequences!

In two weeks we should know if Russia is really serious about peace.

Thank you for the attention to this matter.

I have not heard a peep from all of those European leaders since the 10 day deadline has passed for a meeting.

Why are they not pestering Trump like crazy to try to get him to do something?

Thats good.

Im talking about the ones who traveled to washington to have the public meeting. What the hell was the point of that? Photo ops for them? They should keep trying to force progress. They are supposed to be leaders too.

More than likely they are doing that without going public which would only serve Putin as Putin continues to drive a wedge between Trump and Europe.

yes. They should be very public about it.

While that would push Trump it might not be in the desired direction. In any case, I'm quite confident they would start in private.

Yeah, "pestering Trump like crazy" is definitely the thing EU leaders should be doing. It's not like that would backfire.

And it's not like Trump should already know what he needs to do. Can't be that he's too chicken**** to do it.

stupid strawman...

Europe's inaction is not working. If Trump wanted to flaunt the idea that he is getting Putin to agree to major concessions, then they need to force the issue when it comes to follow through. Trump made those meetings very public. They should keep it very public.

The silence makes it too easy for him to spin the anti-Ukraine narrative.

If you truly followed this subject, you would know that those leaders were there in support of Z.. They didn’t want the crap to hit the fan like it did in that first meeting. They were also there to pay homage to the orange fool in office, who needs his boots to be licked in order to feel good about himself. It’s actually gross when you really think about it. Only people with very low self esteem have to go down that road.

Photo ops for them?! That’s a ridiculous statement. They had to kiss ass to keep dumb ass involved.

At this moment, Europe is still too dependent on US military help. Trump knows this (at least one thing he knows about foreign affairs) and he is using it in a pathetic way to put pressure on our long standing allies.

And he is giving Putin all the cover he needs in his ordeal to destroy and take over a democratic country.

I am fully aware of that.

Yes they need the US help. And theyre not getting it. Z needs their help to get US help for Ukraine. I dont see them helping. They need to do more to get Trump to see the light.

What are they supposed to do in your view? Give some insight on how you would go about it if you were in their shoes. I’d actually like to hear your input, if you’re serious on the topic. I totally understand the crowd that has checked out and doesn’t really give a damn about this stupid war. Quite a few Europeans don’t give a crap, so why should people in the US care. I give the general public a pass, but this US administration doesn’t get one. What Trump and his idiotic minions are doing on foreign policy has never been our policy. It goes against all that was built and accomplished during and after WW2, regardless of the political aisle.

This would and should be an easy win for Trump. He’s just too stupid, Putin-compromised or both to make the right decision.

Trying to sound smart doesn't work when you demonstrate you have no idea what the logical fallacy means.

I would at least like to hear that all of those people have been calling him to find out what progress is being made on a meeting, and pressing him to get specific about what sanctions could be coming for Russia if they refuse to meet after all the effort went in to those meetings.

To much time and money spent for all of those leaders to come to Washington just to drop the conversation immediately and say "oh well" when Trump is now saying "maybe they'll meet and maybe they wont. Its up to them." And "Ukraine isn't innocent either."

Again it should be public, in the news so there are more deadlines, and specific actions to hold him at his word. Making it harder to spin his pro-russian narrative.

Such a ridiculous take. Z understands he can’t give in to the lying Putin. Z needs clear agreements from the West for real security and also a cease fire before things can move forward. Putin won’t agree to that unless he is forced to do so. Trump is the only one that has the power to move Putin yet Trump won’t. Europe has already added more sanctions, massively added to military spending in the North, and continues the move to be less and less dependent on Russian energy save for Hungary. Europe needs five years.

You can be certain that calls are being made between leadership. For some reason Trump and Putin are constantly on the phone, but nothing ever comes out of it except Putin being a nice, soft spoke guy.

Trump has made several statements in public about deadlines. He hasn’t followed thru on any of them except when he cut off US military and intelligence aid to Ukraine after that first meeting.

There isn’t anything that these European leaders can do except what they are doing in their countries at the moment. Germany has now put into law that a general draft will be implemented again. They have opened up new factories for military equipment. Other European countries, especially in the East are investing in their military and also border security towards the East. They are talking amongst themselves on how to provide military securities if there ever is a ceasefire or peace agreement.

They are really stuck between a rock and a hard place. Trump is actually playing this the way China would. He wants it both ways, but most Americans know who the real enemy is here and that’s why he has a problem with totally supporting Russia.

The European leaders should be questioning what happened to those deadlines, in the news.

What would that accomplish?! Seriously… what would that do to move the needle? I’m certain you know the answer. None of that matters if Trump is unwilling to put pressure on Putin. He has made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t want to piss Putin off. You’re a smart guy, so I know you can’t possibly think it any different.

We see how wars are fought in large part on social media and in the news. Controlling the narrative helps. Allowing complete silence as inaction continues is obviously not accomplishing anything. They should push a narrative out there. It causes Trump to speak, and possibly even act. Pressure to follow through on his own word.

What other narrative does one need than seeing all of these ballistic missiles and drones destroying civilian property, killing innocent children, their parents and others? It’s so freaking obvious to any half intelligent person that Putin’s Russia doesn’t want a ceasefire or a peace agreement.

Even the narrative of an American factory being hit with missiles didn’t change anything in his NON-commitment of serious consequences. Even when they put pressure on Trump, he picks up the phone and calls his good buddy in the Kremlin. After his lovely and kind chat with P., all threats are off the table again. No one takes him serious.. not Putin or our allies.

I suggest a strategy to move forward, and you complain about the past. All Im saying is maybe they can try calling plays from a different playbook. This one isn't working, obviously. You seen opposed to try anything new.

Lil bro got duped once again and now wants to blame European leaders instead of the retarded clown he voted for. Hate to see it.
