March 6Mar 6 Without repeating myself. I'd love for Lucasfilm to go to KOTOR or utilise the EU for post original trilogy. So much potential is there to just implement well rounded stories that connect product by product.
March 18Mar 18 Denis Lawson has had a very long acting career over here (stage, TV and film). Not super famous, but you know the face when he appears in something. Didn't realise he was the uncle to McGregor tho.
April 9Apr 9 It is just over 2 years since the Rey film was announced. I wonder how they are getting on? It won't be another project announced by Lucasfilm that disappears into the ether soon after will it?

The most recent thing I could find was a Variety article from November saying Disney removed it from the release calendar in 2026. https://variety.com/2024/film/news/star-wars-removed-2026-ice-age-6-1236211852/

Whether that's because its just the latest Disney product syndrome, or because perhaps they have bigger/more experienced names involved that are creating a more cogent film.

At this point there have been so many projects discussed and then don't actually happen, and with Kennedy stepping back we'll have to see what actually happens.
April 11Apr 11 I'm out if there's no singing lesbian space witches in the first couple of episodes of Andor season 2.

Ahsoka. She's a character from the Clone Wars cartoon who was a fan favorite (Anakin had his own apprentice before he turned Vader, and she didn't like the Jedi being political and involved in a war, so she quit). She showed up in The Mandalorian doing her own thing. She was also in the cartoon show Rebels. Ahsoka continues the story of Rebels so if you haven't seen that, it might not make as much sense but they do catch you up. Ashoka is after Return of the Jedi and includes Thrawn, fan favorite from the novels and also the Rebels cartoon. If you don't care about knowing all the backstory, Ahsoka has some cool light saber stuff and Star Wars action. But what I just told you could be enough to understand the show if you care to watch it.
