Ludvig is doing pretty well.  Solid shot at finishing in the top 5 anyway.

Just found out he has a 7-wood in his bag.  I've been thinking about putting an old one that I have back in my bag.  It is 25 years old now but I used to love it.

Kid is right there going to the back 9…

his power will matter on 13 and 15

Just couldn't take down the world #1 but man he looks good for a 24yr old.

Kinda of a lame finish, honestly

You talking about the tournament or Åberg?

Scottie is just inevitable and makes it look easy. The best golfer since early 2000s Tiger hands down. No one can out-gun him, you just have to hope he makes an error or doesn’t have his A-game. Even without it, he’s hard to beat. If his putting is average, he’s nearly unbeatable with his ball striking. And when he’s draining putts like he did yesterday on 15 it just isn’t fair.

Super impressive week from Aberg for a first timer. He’s going to have a hell of a career.

The tourney

thought the kid played well

I thought it was an excellent Masters overall albeit with a timid final 9 as no one could match Scottie.  I guess if Ludvig hadn't had the miss into the water on 11 it would have been close but he still wouldn't have ever caught Scheffler.

Yeah the final back 9 was......meh.

But, credit goes to Scottie for not letting anyone catch him.

I put in a 97 yesterday so you can say things are pretty good.

No big deal then.  You'll sort it out.

My courses open end next week.  It has been really cold now for over a week so things were pushed back a bit.  High today and thru next Tuesday is just above freezing.

Yeah in the 40s here this weekend when it was 70 on Thursday…💩

Our weather finally broke and I got out.  Sooo much rust.  I chunked three of four short little chip shots, duffed a couple of simple 8/9 irons from the fairway, duck hooked a couple of drives, and finally sliced a drive out on 18.  Did some good things though, had a birdie, putt ok, and scraped out a 95.  I'm not unhappy with that since I literally hadn't touched a club since mid-October and we also had to deal with 10-25mph winds.  Out again tomorrow and Saturday and hopefully can get into the upper 80s and then go from there.

Wind sucks. We had a beautiful day here for golf minus trying to drive into it all freaking day. I used SpeedSoft Inks and was impressed again by them. They aren't a Pro V but worth every penny...especially at $24.

First 18 for me since November and I'm tired as crap.

The inks are good balls

the new callaway chrome tour is also a top notch one. Tried a free sleeve last weekend

Agreed. They are good balls as well.

I've been looking for a 2nd driver to beat on at the range or travel with, so I bought a Sim2 Max. That thing may have just replaced my Ping. I love it.

86 with a really sloppy double on 16 today.  Things are moving in the right direction now.

Rory getting a divorce is either going to put him an absolute scorched earth, kill mode or he’ll flame out for a bit. Doesn’t feel like there’s going to be an in between.

He won the PGA and the British back in 2014 when he called off the wedding to his then girlfriend. Absolutely destroyed everyone on Sunday this past week at the Wells Fargo the day before the divorce news broke. He might be back to his default, factory settings of being a killer now.

Scottie is going to go win one for the new baby

I went back and watched the Tiger/BobMay duel from Valhalla.  That was a fantastic moment for golf and for Tiger.
