January 3, 20224 yr Not sure how I feel. I don’t have to work Sunday so that’s a plus. I just hope our WC game isn’t the Monday night game.

Cowboys can still get the 3 seed, which for them would mean home field in the Divisional round IF whoever is the 2 seed (Rams, Cardinals or Buccaneers) is eliminated in the first round.
January 3, 20224 yr Both teams will be resting starters so I think it's weird they moved the game unless both teams are playing the following Saturday which is unlikely.
January 3, 20224 yr I’d rather play the Bucs. So many injuries and no Antonio Brown. Put Slay on Evans, double Gronk and make sure Gannon gets rid of his soft zone all game. The Rams - Kupp is difficult to cover as the slot guy. Donald is a nightmare and Ramsey would take away Smith, basically allowing them to focus on Goedert/taking away the run.

There is still an opportunity to move up to the 6th seed, so not sure if we will be resting starters.

I think no matter what the Eagles know they are going to face a tough wildcard game. And depending how other results go (which they won't now know as they will be playing earlier than most) there are a whole host of possibilities. I think they will pull some of the starters at halftime.

I wonder if Dallas can improve their playoff seeding with a W and losses by TB and/or LA. If so, then I highly doubt either team rests starters since both would have something to play for (we have an opportunity to move up to the 6th seed with a W and SF loss).

Dallas can do whatever it wants but we are resting our key starters. If Dallas was smart, so would they.

Dallas still has a chance at the two seed, so it sounds like this game was moved so Dallas has to play it out since they won’t know the outcomes of Tampa or LA.

January 3, 20224 yr Dallas can end anywhere from the 4 seed to the 2 seed. Why would they rest anyone?

Not necessarily the Cowboys. Cowboys still playing for the 3 seed, which would get them home field in the Divisional playoff if the 2 seed loses in the Wild Card round and they win. For the Eagles, it's a question of, do you want to go to likely Tampa for Round 1 against the Bucs or play whoever wins the NFC West (Rams or Cardinals, Rams still have to play the 49ers again this week with the 49ers having to win to get in).
January 3, 20224 yr This is a blessing it will give us that extra day of rest since will probably be traveling to the rams

Putting a game in prime time even though both team's starters could be in street clothes tells you how popular the Eagles and Cowboys are.
