Antenna was a fail. Moved it around the house & the best it could do is 8 channels…got my local nbc & cbs channels but not abc…which I need for mnf.

I might pay the 30 bucks for 1 month of ESPN plus….Eagles have 2 mnf games in that month so I’d get them at least.

If you're going to go with an antenna, especially with how mountainous NEPA, you'd at least need an larger antenna mounted in the attic. The only way you'd pick up anything with those sheety small walmart ones is if you plugged it in right underneath the tower in Mountain Top.

I got an email with that offer to comeback since I cancelled it. 60 off is just for one month but still pretty great

Old Di quit cable today. Finally. Know someone that said get the ONN box and he would program it for me. So I did. Have a movie app that's weird, I never heard of it or many of the movies listed, but it also has some TV shows. Streamfire app has your usual TV channels plus all the HBOs, Starz, Encore and Cinemax (I haven't watched those last 2 networks in years). Also, Streamfire includes NBC Sports Philadelphia. Lastly SportsX app. Tested that out on a Flyers games the other night. You just click the sport/league you want and every live game that's on will appear. Price for the box $35. This poorer is pirating all the above for free.

Xfinity had a new offer so I took it. 1GB internet (not that I need it) NOWTv and Disney+-Hulu (with adds) and Peacock were included with upgrading internet speed. Price $110. for 5 years.

Managed to successfully log into Netflix, Prime (has my channel 6 Action news), and Paramount +. Price: Free sharing my kids accounts.

One app that is very good and also free is Pluto. Has a big list of channels, and a lot of stuff on demand as well. There's ads every so often, but it's at the same scale as regular tv, so there's not a ton of them nor are they overwhelming. The newest movies they have are like ten years old, but hey, its free.

the individual packages appeared on my youtuve tv account.

Im going to cut down to the sports + entertainment package.

Only going to save like 11 or 12 bucks a month, but at least its something.
