December 11, 2024Dec 11 Foxx's special was one of the more unique comedy specials I've seen. Almost the entire thing is centered on his medical emergency and the aftermath (he discloses that it was a stroke caused by an anuerysm). Emotional and moving while still being funny. Not as many laughs as you might be expecting but still worth a watch if you enjoy his brand of humor or wanted to know more about what happened to him. Though I will add that the editing and directing might be among the worst I've ever seen for a special.
December 14, 2024Dec 14 Carry-On. Really good cast. Solid first half. Then just completely goes off the rails. It’s not terrible, I liked it enough. Just felt like two different movies almost. They try really hard to be like a Temu Die Hard Christmas movie.

Once you start to understand what's happening it gets better.

December 21, 2024Dec 21 Personally I thought 3 Body Problem was one of the best shows we watched this year, I’m stoked for season 2. That scene with the ship with the ship was freaking awesome, and don’t even get me started on Eiza Gonzalez’ full frontal scene…

December 27, 2024Dec 27 Not sure what to think about Squid Game season 2. Spoiler First off, it’s not a full season. They are calling it Season 2 and that the final season will be in 2025. It’s really more like Part 1 now and Part 2 later. You can pretty much tell this was always supposed to be a one season show. The writer really had no idea how to follow up on anything so it’s pretty much a straight recreation of Season 1. All the new characters share almost all the traits as the old characters (****y guy, crazy lady, friend that betrays friend etc etc). The final twist was the exact same twist as Season 1, all the way down to player 001 being a plant AGAIN with the main character just blindly trusting him the whole time even though he was already in the game once and fooled by a player 001. The side plot of the undercover cop getting shot by the head master who was his brother is complete filler and goes absolutely nowhere. The whole season is just him trying to find the island again. There are only 3 games. One is the same red light green light. One is boring and more of a joke than anything. The last one was a little suspenseful, but nothing like Season 1. They spend more time focusing on a democratic vote each round than the actual games. We’ll see how they wrap this all up. I’m skeptical.

The trans turned out to be a better developmental character surprisingly
January 2Jan 2 No Good Deed- good. I didn't think I could stand watching all of the annoying LA people but it got good. It Ends With Us-chick flick romance movie worth watching because Blake Lively is so hot.
