The Waterfront - Halfway decent little summer guilty pleasure. No real nudity, which is a shame because the son’s wife is purdy. I mean, there's still plenty to mock while watching it but, honestly that helps make it more enjoyable these days.

They could have made the same LIV thing work without flames, ice, and ATVs, and the thing at the end with the same jokes and characters. The jokes with Scottie and Eminem would have still worked. Make it about having to driver further and jokes about how long pros normally take to aim and hit it, but somewhat grounded in reality. It was too much.

I agree but I went into it with very very low expectations. Obviously it was over the top and not nearly as good as 1 but I liked it.

Havoc is insane. Don't know why they bothered casting anyone known, the characters don't matter at all. It's almost constant action and killing henchmen. It's like John Wick, Extraction, others like them, and martial arts movies put in a blender. The visual look of the city is like 70s or 90s movies with gritty, dirty, dark noir. Se7en, The Crow, those types. The ways they kill people get over the top to the point of making it almost fantasy. I think the filmmakers were on cocaine when they shot it. 😂

Untamed - it’s pretty good, but it could have been exceptional if the characters didn’t keep making such obviously bad decisions. Then there’s their super duper tracking skills….. The opening scene is really well done, and the setting throughout is amazing.

HG2. I enjoyed it. Some of it didn’t work but enough did to make it a win.

although i was high, i enjoyed it quite a bit.

Watched the first 2 episodes of the hunting wives last night. It seems pretty good so far. Some screwed up characters. There are boobs. Malin Akerman is 47 and has the body of a 23 year old. Its almost more weird than it is hot. But, still, 2 boob scenes in 2 episodes which is bonus points for the show.

Agree with this. I was pleasantly surprised at how not bad it was through the first hour. Definitely fell apart at the end. And honestly, who really cares about the LIV stuff enough to make that a central plot point of the movie?

They could have kept it simple with the vibe they started with in the first half. Toss a bunch of cameos into the golf tournament, have Happy regain his swagger and win enough money for his daughter. It wouldn't have been a great movie, but would have been decent enough with the nostalgia factor sprinkled in.

Is that the one season Netflix show featuring a recently divorced alcoholic detective who is a broken man that is forced to investigate a seemingly open and shut case but then has to work with the new officer who has some insights of their own, and they work together to solve the case that is more than it seems, the complexity of which gives the detective time to start to put his life back together, or is that the other one?

I thought it was awful the whole way through. Im just not a Sandler fan i guess

I loved Vikings all the way through. Having trouble getting in to Vikings Valhalla. On episode 7 of season 1. Theres been no connection developed with these characters. Storylines not as good. Chicks not as hot.

Yes, that one. Yosemite park is the star of the show, otherwise it's formula TV. Breezy watch.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Growing into it: great setting, great actors. What could go wrong I thought? As it turns out the writing and editing could go wrong. Who knew?
