Add that to the list of reasons 2020 sucks!

  • Don’t Look Up was hilarious!   that’s EXACTLY how something like that would go down.  They nailed it.   ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Would Recommend to a friend!!!

  • You're drunk - the lack of Yennefer being naked at all immediately makes your claim invalid

Man on the Inside - Dull, not very funny, but also sweet and touching. Ted Dansen, who is absolutely fantastic in it, seriously, goes undercover in a nursing home for a private investigator. Whoever wrote it obviously had a family member suffer from dementia.

Watched the first episode of American Primeval last night - pretty brutal

Very violent but was well done.  I watched all of it.

I know there were a few other dorks in here besides me who enjoyed the Castlevania animated series.  Season 2 of Castlevania Nocturne was pretty amazing - just finished it last night.

r/castlevania - A little after it came out, someone posted this with only 50+ audience reviews, here’s the updated version :)

I can't believe how much I loved the first season.  Afterwards, I think I went out and bought a pocket protector and gave myself a swirly.

This show is so good. I hate how much of a weeb I look like when I watch it but it's worth it.

I'm currently watching "The Madness".  Getting really into it. The acting and writing are very good.

Started a rewatch of "Lost" over Christmas break and almost to the final season - hard to believe its 20 years old now, but it still holds up.  Literally have not seen it since it originally aired, so outside of the major characters, location and broader plot points, I've forgotten a lot of the details episode to episode.  So much better to binge as well - I remember the mental anguish when nearly every episode ended each week with some sort of cliff hanger or reveal, let alone the season enders and having to endure months or waiting.

Surviving Black Hawk Down on Netflix is an all timer.  One of the best documentaries I've ever seen.  They do such an incredible job getting both sides of the story and the real emotions of everyone involved.

Spoiler

This will be the most liberal thing you will ever hear out of my mouth, but I can't help but think how avoidable all of these deaths could have been if we were just a little more communicative to someone on their side when our intentions turned from "help out all the people," to "Seek and destroy General AIDS".

I think I need to rewatch the movie and then watch the doc. The movie better be on Netflix.

Any boobs in the documentary?

As surprising as it sounds, they somehow made the documentary of American soldiers trying to escape a terrifying situation without showing as much as a nipple.

A little insurgent wife nip is always welcomed. Maybe next time.

Need to watch a National Geographic documentary about the amazon rainforest. All the nips you can handle.

Either that or the Woodstock ‘99 documentary. That had more nudity than anything I’ve seen in a while.

Forgot about that one. That was actually pretty good watch too.

Zero Day was surprisingly good

It was just OK for me.  Thought it would have been better.

Been watching Madam Secretary -on the beginning of season 2.  It is not as good as West Wing, but I am fully sucked in at the moment.   It is really eerie that it was a 2014-2019 series and it's almost like watching our current reality.

The Night Agent - Season 2 got pretty good. For a while there I wasn't even sure I was going to finish it. A few episodes in I just didn't even want to watch it anymore. I didn't hate it, it just wasn't worth the time, so I watched a number of other shows before I picked it back up. I'm glad I did because it got better.

The Recruit - I watched season 1 when it came out, and I seemed to recall liking it when I saw that season 2 was coming out but when I got ready to start season 2 I realized that i didn't really remember anything about season 1. I remembered some of the characters but absolutely nothing about the storyline. Probably not a good sign. I'm going to watch season 2 anyway.

If you're wanting to LOL try Running Point.

Kate Hudson taking over as Pres of a basketball team.  It's fictional but seems to follow a book about the LA Lakers. I don't really follow basketball, so I didn't mind, but some critics did.  I thought it was funny as ish while also being a family drama.

For me, the timing over this past weekend worked to keep my spirits up with the time change and the lull in sports and not having any social plans.  They will be doing a 2nd season.  It was 10 eps.

Netflix renewed the Night Agent but cancelled The Recruit. Should have done the opposite.

Anyone else watch Adolescence?  Remarkably acted and shot - each episode was shot in one long take.  The actors who played the father and son are both incredible.

It's on my list, and I saw a couple social media posts saying it was good. Gonna check it out.

It's pretty emotionally exhausting - just an FYI

Yes, we saw it last week.  Amazing and not what I was expecting at all.  A true emotional rollercoaster, and I can't believe how all the episodes were filmed with 1 take.  I think that father was "Tommy" from Snatch.  🤣
