Breaking: Bears Reportedly Make Decision On Next Coach (msn.com)

Eberflus (who?) DC Colts

If Pedersen had Reich and Riech had Eberflus, is Eberflus part of the Andy Reid, Doug Pedersen coaching tree?

not unless he worked under Reid and/or Pedersen. Reich was already an established coordinator elsewhere before coming here, so I wouldn't even consider Reich part of the Pedersen tree.

Looks like he poached the GB staff for the OC slot.

Yep, Matt Lefleur will need to hire pretty much a new assistant staff on offence around him.

OC gone, QB coach gone. They promoted their OL coach who was also wanted by Denver but sounds like they will instead now hire the TE coach. AR must be sitting back and not liking all of this.

I spent about ten seconds wondering why Andy Reid would care about the Packers coaching staff.

AR must mean Aaron Rodgers in this case.

Doesn't sound like Vikes will be going with Harbaugh after all....he would have been a solid hire for them

Ohreally?  Then riddle me why 8/10 of the last Super bowls were won by "retread" hires?  Andy Reid/Arians/Bellicheck/Caroll/Kubiak/Coughlin.  Dougie P was hardly a wunderkind, just a vet coordinator who had paid his dues.  You'd have to go back to the Ravens and Harbaugh who was arguably brought in as a wunderkind way back when and won his SB in his 5th year at the helm at age 50.

And of course, John Harbaugh won that Super Bowl coaching against his brother Jim in the only time brothers faced off against each other as HCs in a Super Bowl.

Mike McDaniel will be the Dolphins head coach.

He was the OC for the 49ers.

It was reported on Wikipedia on Friday, and announced today.

What a cluster F the Texans are.

Settled on Culley last year who really wasn't a HC candidate anywhere else because no one serious really wanted that job. And after firing him this year, found out no one really wants that job again so going with Lovie Smith who was their DC last year and not a HC candidate anywhere else. Might be another one and done - seems like they are dead set on waiting with stopgaps till Josh McCown decides he read to become a HC
