RAW premier on Netflix tonight.  I don't care for the new entrance and lack of ramp. The entire ring area looks very cramped now.  1 small area for a single announce desk.  The ring covered in ads now is also weird.  And,  I wasn't expecting commercials.  But here we are..

The ramp/cramped feeling could be due to the stadium size

I get a little flash to black when they cut to commercial during a match but it stays with the match. I think they still have a few countries that are running it on tv so they do it that way and then flash to black when they come back

Hogan getting booed out of the arena was hilarious. Pretty tame Rock promo. That felt like a Dwayne Johnson appearance and not a Rock one.

No excitement for the Rumble?

I don’t get the Jey Uso hype. I understand that he’s over but the fact he won the Rumble and is going to main event Mania for a title shot is insane to me.

They’re basically re-using the 2010 HBK storyline for Cena where HBK was doing everything he could to get another shot at Taker and kept coming up short.

Should have been Jacob Fatu.  That guy has been on fire lately

So was The Godfather and Scotty Too Hotty back in the day. Doesn’t mean they should win the Rumble.

That was so damn good. The deadpan stare Cena gave Rock during the hug made me sit up from my couch and it hit that they are finally doing it. Also, this promo from Bray aged like wine. Part of me thinks one of the reasons they did this turn was to fulfill Bray's story with Cena showing that he was right about him all along.

What a great main event. Rollins, Reigns, and Punk killed it. I love the long lasting storyline that Rollins has always been one step ahead of Reigns and has his number.

Night 2 of wrestlemania flat out sucked. Might be the worst one ever. When the highlight of the night is "Dirty Dom” winning IC gold, that is telling. Other than that match, nothing really either concluded or advanced a story. The main event mostly seemed like a vehicle to promote Travis Scott’s (whoever that is) "music”.

Rhea/Bianca/Iyo was fantastic. Easily the match of the night and could have main evented. My second favorite match behind Reigns/Rollins/Punk. Cena/Cody fell extremely flat. The Travis Scott interference was a total dud. It’s incomprehensible that The Rock wasn’t involved in the finish for storyline sake.

Sky vs. Ripley (her The Batman Who Laughs-inspired gear was awesome) vs. Belair was great, in my opinion. Drew vs. Priest was solid, and Styles vs. Paul was too—though it ran about 5–10 minutes too long. Still, I liked the Kross appearance. Joe Hendry showing up was cool, but I think Orton and Owens would’ve absolutely stolen the show. I feel bad for Owens and wish him a speedy and healthy recovery. The Fatal 4-Way was solid again. I didn’t mind Dom winning as much as I thought I would, but I really wish they’d do more with Finn.

Rhodes vs. Cena was pretty disappointing. The Rock’s involvement in Cena’s turn felt unnecessary, especially if they weren’t planning to follow through with it at Mania. Cena turning heel would’ve worked just as well without The Rock.

The match between Punk, Rollins, and Reigns saved Night 1. What a match. Seth playing the Joker to Roman’s Batman is a fantastic dynamic. I just wish Mox was still around to be part of it.

A few more thoughts:

- Gunther tapping was a terrible decision, especially at Mania. If you want Jey to win the title, fine—but not like that.

- The TLC match with the Street Profits, MCMG, and DIY should’ve been on the Night 1 card instead of New Day vs. War Raiders.

- Charlotte vs. Stratton was rough in spots, but the physicality made up for it.

- I like El Grande Americano, but I wish Gable could get over under his own name—he’s a hell of a worker.

- I didn’t like Fenix losing so quickly. I would’ve gone with Dragon Lee instead.

- The Bayley disrespect needs to stop. She deserves better. Why not have her wrestle Perez? If not that, have her turn on Valkyria during the match. They could’ve saved Lynch’s return for Raw. Her and Valkyria holding the tag championships makes no sense to me. I guess Lynch will turn at some point, but why not bring her back sooner to face Valkyria at Mania, giving Bayley a chance to shine.

- Fatu winning was expected, but welcomed. I hope he has a great reign.

- Cargill vs. Naomi was fine. I really like Jade’s look and hope she continues to improve. Naomi’s transformation is cool—this is a much better character for her.
