Twitter with the small size of text and the fact that you can't edit makes it work, IMHO. People will start editing out every stupid thing they say. I don't like that. Sort of like the way that the Inglorious ****s carved swastikas into the heads of the notzees.

You literally just argued that it's good that almost no one will be banned from twitter to facilitate free speech minutes before saying you were glad several posters from the EMB were banned because they were "zeroes," idiot.

One idea was a brief time limit on edits. Some people just make typos or misspell a word or something innocent. It's interesting because on one hand people say Twitter isn't important, no one cares/uses it and it's a cesspool...and on the other say not having an edit button is important, and certain changes are a threat to Democracy and journalistic integrity.

Twitter is all about broadcasting. The others are more about communicating with a group. Overlap everywhere for sure though. Marking a tweet as edited and allowing one to see the original helps. Have to figure out how to deal with likes, retweets, etc. as well.

Crazy people will say anything. I'm only giving my opinion. I like the fact that you can delete something you screw up, but not change the original post. Threat to Democracy? Journalistic integrity? It's a social network platform. It has no integrity. It has no vote. People have integrity. If a journalist tweets lies, now you know they have none.

Exactly. I think the attention being paid to it over the last few weeks is evidence that it does matter. The question is if we can move things into a position where it does not which would be ideal.

April 26, 20223 yr I am really interested to see where Musk turns to find equity partners for the $21bn of equity capital needed. There have been rumors of talks with Thoma Bravo and some other PE firms, but nothing confirmed as of now. There will be $13bn of debt on Twitter, he'll get $12.5bn from a margin loan backed by TSLA stock, and that leaves $21bn he needs to put up himself and/or raise from others.

Given you're track record in this thread, I'm just going to assume all of this is wrong. Kthnxbai!

What level of education did you complete and where was the school you went to?

But hey, feel free to downplay it best you can since it's clearly hard for you to accept that Republicans were responsible for it.

Ishlibs have been taking so many Ls lately they have to cling to the idea that J6 was a large insurrection organized by Donald Trump and a legitimate attempt to overthrow the US government. To do this, they basically have to only watch CNN and MSNBC coverage of the event and dismiss actual video footage from the day. It's both hilarious and a little sad at the same time.
