Putting aside one’s stance on the issue, we should all agree that it is egregious and dangerous that this was leaked. Draft opinions should remain private and debated among the justices. Not every cas

Sure sounds like the opposite.

It legal to protest outside a citizen's house, but not outside a government official's.

Sure sounds like a selectively enforced pile of horse crap.

Then change it. I didn’t write the law.

Alito must be a crap neighbor.

Nah, liberals are just scumbags.

She was just sloppy. The WH doesn’t support it but they are too afraid of upsetting their base to say so.

Nah, they support it but don’t want to outright say it because they don’t want to upset sane people.

The "libertarian" who thinks the 19th Amendment should be repealed is calling people scumbags

Funny what upsets you. Selectively enforced laws do, sometimes.

Libertarian values matter, sometimes.

You are nothing if not consistent. Ergo, you are nothing.

I'd imagine liberals are too poor to live in that neighborhood. They don't work after all.

that's as legit a take as ACAB.

"just a few bad apples..."

Funny that some have an issue with protesting outside Alito's house when the Right to Life crowd blows up clinics and shoots and kills abortion providers.

Woke liberals - it's okay to violate criminal statutes if our side supports it

What criminal statues are they violating? What charges have been filed? Looks like a bunch of tourists meandering to me.

How about I have a problem with both.

Violence and intimidation is not the way for a free Democracy. It just isn't and I will denounce/condemn all who voilate that principle regardless of side/party etc.

the violence part is already illegal...i'd think most are against that.

but peaceful protesting is as american as it gets.

You had no problem with Jan. 6. All you Trumpbots can spare the rest of us your righteous indignation.

Trumpbots showed up to a state house with large guns because they didn't like masks and dining restrictions in a pandemic, but this is just a bridge to far for these people

This. There should be no violence, they should not be on private property. Protesting on a public street is protected by the first amendment.

What an idiotic and irrelevant reference

Not true.

I stated our Democracy was not really in jeapordy because some idiots, got into the Capital Bldg. Fact

Anyone who "broke in or was voilent" should have been arrested.

I believe in anyones right to peacfully protest.

You know nuance and distinctions.

Did this make sense in that vacuous head of yours?

The idea that democracy is synonymous with libertarianism is profoundly stupid.

A general statute saying that you can't protest "outside of homes" would be a regulation, and an ambiguous one at that.

You are reading things that aren’t there. I never proposed a regulation, statue, law, or even policy.

Quote

Libertarianism (from French: libertaire, "libertarian"; from Latin: libertas, "freedom") is a political philosophy that upholds liberty as a core value.[1] Libertarians seek to maximize autonomy and political freedom, and minimize the state; emphasizing free association, freedom of choice, individualism and voluntary association.[2] Libertarians share a skepticism of authority and state power, but some libertarians diverge on the scope of their opposition to existing economic and political systems.

Yeah, totally. It's completely reasonable to think that, without the right to vote, a citizen could maximize their autonomy and political freedom and limit the power of the state. Liberty is so easily obtainable without suffrage!

You were agreeing with a post from another poster that said "I would draw the line that the protests should not be in front of peoples personal homes." I guess you were just saying you personally find that to be distasteful, but "drawing the line" to me implied that there should be some sort of ordinance against it.
