Putting aside one’s stance on the issue, we should all agree that it is egregious and dangerous that this was leaked. Draft opinions should remain private and debated among the justices. Not every cas

Susan Collins must be super concerned.

Didn't think it would actually happen. Surprising.

Yeah, a lot of us thought the same.

I'm actually in the same boat.

Whatever, I'm just here for the fireworks

Boom. Just like that states matter.

This decision itself could bring about a new wave people getting active in state politics and participation.

True.  Media headlines tend to drive the timing of Supreme Court decisions.

Great news.  There goes the Republican coalition.

Overruling abortion definitely changes the dynamics of the midterm elections.  Where the white women at???

True - all those super responsible baby killers will be sure to get out and vote!

What was the final vote?

Cue the "peaceful " leftist protests...  Really good of them to dump this on a Friday so we can have a full weekend of it.

Has very little to do with baby killers.  A lot more to do with suburban women who don't like the state telling them what they can and can't do with their body...or their daughter's body.  The wave of laws that are about to go into effect hit the Republicans exactly where they can't afford to be hit.

But there's still no engagement on the left. This is what happens when you don't vote: We get the government we deserve. It goes back to all these liberals and centrists who stayed home or voted 3rd party in 2016, when it was clear that that election would re-make the Court. As if a fascist on the ticket wasn't bad enough. I think a lot of this is on them.

And it's not like they'll even care enough to vote in November, either. They'll **** and moan for a few weeks, but they'll forget by the fall. Republicans will keep their base motivated, though. The left is as lazy as the right is crazy.

Yeah they shouldn’t even be allowed to vote.

There's tons of engagement from the left.  Not sure what you're seeing.  This only focusses that engagement where it should be: on the states.

I'm not talking about protesting and yelling on Twitter, I'm talking about what matters: Voting.

As those of us with a clue knew, Thomas said that Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefeld should be overturned. They're coming for birth control next.
