Nah. The thing with Roe v Wade is that legally, it was a poorly reasoned opinion that read things into the constitution that weren't there. Even RBG recognized this and as a judge, she was not comfortable with the opinion.

June 24, 20223 yr If you scroll through Dobbs, you'll see that the Mississippi law that was upheld actually allows an abortion 15 weeks into a pregnancy. That's almost four months into the pregnancy and well past the first trimester. Those who support abortion rights should have left this law on the books and left well enough alone until Thomas is replaced with a liberal justice.

June 24, 20223 yr Author So, it's a 6-3 decision officially, but with some caveats. The Chief Justice concurred but filed a separate opinion. He basically wanted to eliminate Roe but keep abortion legal. He would've ruled that the MS law wasn't an undue burden under Casey but wouldn't have overturned Casey's analysis.
