Well, then stop giving people money not to work. Stop the stupid eviction moratoriums. Stop giving them food stamps. Don't forgive student loans.

Work or starve. People will come back to work.

I'm for it. Let's get started.

Putting aside one’s stance on the issue, we should all agree that it is egregious and dangerous that this was leaked. Draft opinions should remain private and debated among the justices. Not every cas

Seems odd, how years ago there wasn't such a crisis, dispite even a BABY BOOM, until that is society blew up the Nuclear family.

Nothing changed the fabric of our society more than having more women in the workplace - both in the home and in the office.

The conservative bloc in this Supreme Court will never do that.  The only way that happens is with Republicans controlling both house and the WH and enacting legislation.

Doesn't seem too far outside the realm of possibility by 2025.

Hmmm.... maybe roll back the womens movement too then.   Keeping women out of the workplace at home with the kids will fix that AND drive up salaries due a smaller workforce supply.

I'm a consultant.  I'm here to help

Oooooor, dads can stay home instead.

Roe vs. Wade literally overturned today and people are already trying to get women out of the workforce  Republicans man.

So you agree then that things are so out of whack right now that, absent massive voter fraud, there's a good chance Republicans will have significant gains in Congress and will re-take the WH.

The left doesn't vote, so anything is possible.

Who is trying to get women out of the workforce?

What, you don't think left wing voters won't receive their ballots in the mail?

I did my Mr. Mom duty.  Schmoopie is now at bat there.

Associated Press and Politico is calling it 5-4. The Court went well beyond what Dobbs was asking. The Chief would've upheld the MS law but would not have overruled Casey, so it fundamentally cannot be a 6-3 decision.

I wasn't talking to about you in particular. Seems like moms always have to sacrifice their careers while dads occasionally "babysit" their children.

I did it voluntarily and it’s the best decision we made as a family. Of course we both worked hard to be able to get to this point. And we make sacrifices. Like I have to wait before we can buy another beach property. But I’m selfless like that.

That's fine. Not all women want to stop working nor should they ever be expected to because of the way others feel a family should function.

So is it just going to be based on the states now?

Don't get me wrong.  In my new perfect world, there will still be some jobs for women who don't want to be stay at home moms.  For example:

It sounds like you want women to make their own choices.

Yes, the way it was before Roe for almost 200 years.
