Putting aside one’s stance on the issue, we should all agree that it is egregious and dangerous that this was leaked. Draft opinions should remain private and debated among the justices. Not every cas

Progressive leftists are very predictible. They Riot when they dont get their own way. Much like a spoiled child, kicks, screams and cries when he doesn't get what he wants

No self awareness.  None.

It is interesting how everyone is bringing up the fact (including Fox News mind you) that the remedy is simply they can have it done in another state.  Well, that is all well and good for someone that can afford to travel over multiple states, stay in a hotel for said travel and pay for the procedure.  Yet again, another ignorant far right response to the problem.  Talk about white privilege!!!

No, they will just all get back alley abortions

From an outside perspective, it seems like most Republicans don't even want this to be over turned. But they "have" to vote along party lines. So they'd rather ban abortion than go against the party. It's wild. It seems they're happier that they "owned the libs" than anything else.

I'm not sure how much interstate travel will happen here.  I'm not exactly an expert, but won't the abortion pill just go on the black market?  Aren't most modern abortions done by simply administering a pill?

That's because the crime(s) are crimes in all of the jurisdictions since it's a federal law that covers the whole country. State to State is different and the fed doesn't enforce state laws so it seems moot on its face.

Right - if it was applicable to traveling somewhere and engaging in acts illegal in the state of residence, but legal in that jurisdiction, everyone who ever traveled to casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City prior to the widespread legalization of gambling could have been prosecuted by their states.

I would like to setup an abortion resort. Come and stay, enjoy the pools, get massages, great food, and get a nice, safe abortion while you're here!

I think most probably do but they've always been afraid of the political fallout that will inevitably occur.  Modern Republicans have very few "issues" that they concern themselves with.   They're no longer against spending, they're not small government, no real consistent opinions about foreign policy or even very many domestic policies.  They've mainly operated as simply an apparatus to gain and maintain power.

BUT, there are a couple issues that they absolutely have to stand behind for ideological purposes, and abortion is one of them.  So this is one of the few instances where they're willing to lose politically to gain ideologically.

I will wait when you show me the dozens of times/issues the Right rioted. If you read my statement clearly, I never stated the right doesn't, but I clearly stated the lefts has done this multiple times, dozens. We need only look at the past 10 years to get over a dozen of times the left Rioted. You can only point to one dust up at the Capitol on Jan 6th 2020 as an example of the right.

So I will wait till you realize how wrong you just were.

They seemed to have evolved into - "Do the Liberals want to do this thing?" If yes, we are violently and vehemently against it. If no, then they are passionately for it.

Dont think thats the case at all. I think a lot of people on the right kept quiet while never really liking or agreeing with abortion.

Agreed. It's clearly unconstitutional. The travel act referenced prior, has specific crimes attached to it and out of state Abortion access, isn't one of them.

If State A makes abortion illegal, it can't pass a law making it illegal for it's citizens to travel to State B where it is legal and then be arrested returning to State A for violating State A's laws. Is Texas really going to monitor it's borders for women coming in from out of State? How can Texas know if a citizen returning from another state has had an abortion or not? Are they going to ask women to drop their panties so they can inspect their vaginas?

About more than half.  Just read that earlier in the AP article about the ruling.

More than 90% of abortions take place in the first 13 weeks of pregnancy, and more than half are now done with pills, not surgery, according to data compiled by the Guttmacher Institute, a research group that supports abortion rights.

Women in Texas are already going to Mexico for abortions. Remember when I suggested that Trump's wall was as much for keeping us in as others out?

Is Clarence Thomas the biggest Uncle Tom ever? Should the term be changed to Uncle Clarence?

Recreational Pot is illegal in PA but not in Colorado. So I guess anyone who returns from Colorado should be subject to mandatory drug testing before returning to the State. I'm sure Tax payer would be happy to pay for that. Right?
