I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

This means Michael Thomas is in rough shape, because they play the same position.

MT, Olave, Landry is a solid WR group. They are getting better with each move they make. I expect that pick to be late-teens at best.

Yup,and I'd guess all NFL OC are aware of hand placement and technique and OL sets and assignments, I don't think stoutland is so good be side he knows some special OL technique that other dont, so what set him apart?

In my opinion as previously stated, it's his ability to teach, he's an expert communicator and teacher.

It's a skill, any ol dummy can learn what  o line technique is  and tell another human about it but connecting  with another human and helping someone else learn how to do that consistently a high level is a skill, one that stoutland excels at.

I don't know much about dennard Wilson's drill but sounds like he's a good teacher.

Unlike most coaches, especially OL coaches, Stoutland is adaptive. He remade Seumalo, who was having all kinds of troubles early on. Instead of the traditional stance that OL are taught, with the outside foot back and the inside foot up, he squared Seumalo's stance. He lines up like a center, rather than a guard. I don't think there's another OT or OG in the league who lines up this way but it worked for Isaac. See below. He's #73.

Don't think it'll be worse than 15ish, they stink.

Eagles, Cowboys, Vikings, Packers, Niners, Rams, Cardinals, Bucs in the NFC are better

Chiefs, Chargers, Broncos, Raiders, Browns, Ravens, Bengals, Patriots, Bills, Colts, Titans are all better in the AFC.

Maybe he's just pulling our legs.

He was sitting right next to Doc when he said it. I guess it's possible but that would be odd.

Howie just has put together two great offseason, **** all you want, but facts are facts.

He got three solid prospects, a future 1st and 2nd, a top 24 year old WR, and replaced those last round picks with a huge UDFA haul. Can't play it much better than that!

But some people will never be happy if they're denied their ITYS.

Opinions are opinions. Calling them two 'great' offseasons is an opinion, not a fact.

Thankyou.  No idea if Hurts will progress to make the draft capital and $$ worth it for AJ Brown.

The fact that you had to spend back to back 1sts on a WR and then trade multiple picks and hand out a huge contract for another takes some of the luster off it all.

Devonta and AJ are products of Howies own mistakes.

Doc would have likely been fired this morning before the PC if he was out. Sixers are stuck in mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

Holy ish dude. It was year 1 of a rebuild where they overachieved. This team was a disaster in 2020. They do deserve some credit for picking themselves up from that pretty quickly.

I don’t look at Howie just in terms of last year. I look at the overall body of work. Fact is, outside of one miracle season, Howie led teams have all of one very fortunate postseason win. I give Howie zero latitude until his moves start resulting in postseason success, especially since he’s the biggest reason we need this rebuild anyway.

Tell her she needs more Mexican food in her life and she can go swimming everyday. If you have a son or daughter tell her you want to check out asu and uofa for potential colleges lol.

Oh she would be up for seeing the game, no problem. And Mexican food too 👍

Haven't ventured out of the UK for a while (some pandemic been doing the rounds), and she is looking at florida, which would be great.

But this seems like a great opportunity to take in a game as part of a cool trip.

What's it like being in the crowd as an away fan ?

For our soccer over here, we get segregated but I don't think that is a thing over there. Us English  just can't be trusted to behave 😄

Cupcakes don’t get a "cupcakes schedule.” Because they’re the cupcakes. That means the schedule isn’t easy. At all.

now I want cupcakes. So thank you.

Huh?  Look at the NFC East SOS this year.   Easiest schedule in the league, and at least 2 of them are cupcakes themselves, which is partly why its the easiest schedule in the league.

You can't go wrong with a Traegor or Pit Boss. They're pellet smokers where it's easier to control the temperature and get a consist sustainable cook. Pellet smokers were outlawed in a lot of official competitions because they can make a superior cook every time.

Make sure to inject. White grape juice for beef. Apple Juice for pork. When you are starting out light mustard or mayo make a good binder to build a nice bark. You can't go wrong with cracked pepper, salt and garlic salt. I live in TX so I like a smoky bite so i'll use a smoky binder and spice  it up usually with "Slap your momma" or a Six Pepper mix.

I have an antique Mr. Smoke.  Because of the water pan and feed door, I am able to control the heat as well as any pellet smoker whether I am cooking with wood or charcoal. Double rack allows me to have two different temperatures.

I don't follow the Sixers closely, but it's hard to rationalize bringing Doc Rivers back.  His handling of Ben Simmons by itself was telling; coddled him way too much and the Sixers ended up with a useless, highly paid dysfunctional malcontent.  Easy for me to say from here -- but Simmons needed to be coached hard and kept in line.  He is a player that people thought could/should have been great but didn't want to put the work in.  Those guys need to be pushed by the coaches.

Rivers' PC should have had a 'Joe Judge effect'.  "We weren't going to fire you but, wow, now we HAVE to fire you".  It's deeply concerning when a head coach doesn't take accountability.

Regular season game it’s not so bad. Usually some good fans there that are friendly. Gone to about 7-8 games out here. Some at Tempe stadium and now Glendale. Only time it was really hostile when I’ve gone to a game against the cardinals was the nfc title game. They didn’t have enough security at the stadium. And fans were way more liquored up than usual. It was a  more diverse crowd of fans then normal. They had a bunch of fans there just wanting to celebrate something and instigate.

That said it was just that one time. The rest of the times I’ve gone it’s been fun. There’s a church close to the stadium that you can park. They ask for a donation for the church to park there. It’s at your discretion but they give free water and grill hot dogs as well. So i always figured I’d give them a little more than the going rate for the parking lots. the parking, water and food is worth it even if its a slightly longer walk than closer lots.

okay...
