Can Newton sucked as a passer and he was a garbage teammate.  Hurts is a broke Cam Newton.  Just not as much as an ego maniac doooooooosh.

Not sure about that, did Cam show up to an after game press conference with his shoulder in a sling after he had an ish game?
The shoulder he injured 6 weeks earlier.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

No.

Feel free to leave though.

One of the advantages of being a fast reader is I can skim by all the schmucks who post here and focus on the food talk and the few who actually are interested in football.

The 14 year olds and their ilk aren't worth the effort of ignore, just whizz by.

So Jalen Hurts is the steak sauce of NFL QBs?

What are you implying sir

Can we have a moratorium on Hurts until September? Then we can talk food and football without having to skip over two pages of posts.

Getting back to the DL, I think some of what Gannon wants to do is disguise his fronts and thus what his front six/seven are doing.

Davis is athletic enough to move outside, while it's hard to see Graham playing the "DT" spot, Williams can move between 4-3 LDE and 3-4 DE with no problems. Hargrave and Cox between 4-3 DT and 3-4 DE.  Sweat between 4-3 RDE, 4-3 Elephant and 5-2 LB. So this allows pre-snap shifting to confuse blocking schemes.

One guy I want to watch in pre-season is Elliss, is he limited to run stopper NT, or is he nimble enough to shift to 4-3 DT - that is, when he subs in does it limit what they can do.

Well you don’t really talk about football, you post your opinion like your god and don’t discuss anything with anyone

Yes, demanding the board talk about only subjects you find worthy is certainly a sign of good football discussion. You got me.

We would certainly all have more "football discussion" if you'd take the time to actually argue a counter point rather than ignore it and proceed to post your other nonsensical dribble like the blowhard that you are.

Sure.  You tell us everyday what you would like us to talk about and we will surely abide.

Easy now. He brings the gold with posts like "Shorts and shells is one thing. We’ll really know if they can play when the pads come on.”

I wasn't following too closely.  I thought I saw that Harper was going to be out for over a month and now he's hitting dingers?

Nonsense. A quick sauce of mayo, dill relish, with a shot of tabasco is great on a fried fish sandwich.

You can't have a Po Boy without remoulade and you can't have a remoulade without relish. It's what's listed above plus horseradish.

Throw a little finely chopped red onion and a touch of cider vinegar in your tartar sauce. Dill relish also great for Russian dressing.

Egglolls nothing without Chinese mustard, can’t make Maryland crab cakes without mustard. Little Tavern yellow deaths were great back in the day

About 20 years ago my ex-wife and I were visiting a nice establishment in Annapolis. She ordered a fillet and I a rack of lamb. When the food appeared at the table she requested steak sauce and the server replied that they have no such thing, of course I chuckled and proceeded to ask for some mint jelly to go with my lamb Guess who laughed last

Condiment power rankings (purely as toppings or part of a topping, not parts of a larger recipe). Thin liquids like malt vinegar and soy sauce not included:

1) Hot sauce

2) Aioli

3) BBQ sauce

4) Ketchup

5) Mustard

6) Relish

7) Horseradish sauce

😎 Steak sauce

...

4732) Mint Jelly

I like mint.  Make a great mint pesto for lamb. Mint Jelly is an abomination.

Any season now Patrick mahomes is gonna prove himself now. He just barely surpassed the 57 starts threshold

The thing I’m most excited to watch this year is our front 7. What a seemingly vast improvement. I can’t wait to watch the DT rotation and who they use where with the LBs.

I’ll wait til September to talk about the offense.

Are Buffalo ranch and blue cheese dressing considered condiments? Or just salad dressings? Cause i use them for fries, burgers, chicken fingers and a multitude of things

I was led to believe anything ranch is the 6th core food group.

I'm mostly excited to see the Jordan Davis effect. May take time but I really think he's going to make everyone around him better.

I'll allow it. Not as versatile as the others though so I'd put em in the 7-9 range.

FWIW Buffalo sauce gets folded in with hot sauce in my rankings because it's basically just hot sauce and butter.

Mayo is folded in with aioli. Tried to keep it broad.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.... are you saying the players around him need to get better? Let’s hold our horses and wait til September to start talking about players who need to get "better”. Let’s give them a chance before we start... discussing... them.

Condiment rankings:

1. mayonnaise

2. mayonnaise

3. mayonnaise

Agree that mint jelly is an abomination.

1) For heat, I like, in order, Sambal, Berbere, Wasabi, and then Tabasco.

2) Agree about Aioli

...9) Tonkatsu Sauce rather than Steak Sauce

10) Don't know quite where to rank it but I love Hoisin Sauce. I make my own BBQ sauce at times and I start with that. Fermented soybeans and thick.

Guys, it’s simple. Talk about football or gtfo. But don’t talk about the QB. Or rookies. Or basically rookies. Definitely do not talk about mini camps and jersey numbers. Or mock drafts. Or swag levels.

5 minutes ago, 4for4EaglesNest said:

No.  That’s just the QB we’re not allowed to talk about, until September.   Right @austinfan

Why does he get special treatment? Wouldn’t that apply to all players who could possibly develop?
