The Last Samurai, The Color of Money, A Few Good Men, The Firm, Minority Report, Collateral.  I can't stand him either, but I like all of these movies.

I feel around 2006 or when MI3 came out. i turned on him cause that’s right where he begins doing a lot of the characters in movies and same movies over again. Although i also did love him in tropic thunder as les grossman and that was after 2006.

That Apatow era of comedies in the late 2000s was a strong run. 40 Year Old Virgin, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Super Bad, and I Love You Man were great. I'm a big DiCaprio fan, so I'll watch any of his movies when they're on. Wolf of Wall Street, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Catch Me If You Can, Shutter Island, Departed, etc. Those all seem to be on TV a lot.

As for best Schwarzenegger movies, you can make a case for any of the ones listed. I thought Last Action Hero was an underrated film of his. It was a self-aware movie that poked fun of his previous action movies with all of the tropes. I thought it was a creative movie considering when it came out. It never really got the recognition it deserved because it came out the same week as Jurassic Park and got lost in its backdraft.

No doubt, the late 2000s Apatow movies were all great.

OK next....what's an on TV movie that you don't turn off but might be embarrassed to admit?

I love Dirty Dancing.

Shutter Island is a great movie.

Let's not forget the Mel Brooks movies that are on...especially if they are on IFC.

Love Robin Hood men in tights. It’s never on tv anymore though. Along with history of the world. Spaceballs comes on more often.

Men in Tights is never on unfortunately.  Blazing Saddles has been on a lot recently.

The Jerk used to be on a lot but not much anymore.

Haven’t seen blazing saddles in forever either. I feel like i never see Mel brooks movies come on tv besides space balls. I’m guessing when he passes away they likely have a marathon for a week or two.

Unfortunately, when he passes, I think the twitter mob is going to have a field day with him.  Imagine how many people who don't know about him or his comedy style are going to be exposed to it and lose their minds.

Kind of already seen it doing so on Twitter. However i think they could play Robin Hood men in tights, spaceballs still. Blazing saddles and history of the world people would get offended especially nowadays with the inquisition song. Heck Robert Downey jr gets crap for tropic thunder even though the premise in the movie was to make fun of Hollywood for doing that.

What did Rocky 4 ever do to you? You don’t like a Christmas story about an murican beating a Soviet and Russia loving him by the end.

Christmas Vacation is the best vacation movie and any other choice is wrong.

More importantly, Vacation and Christmas Vacation are the only ones worth watching.  European vacation has some moments, always laugh at the traffic circle scene and when he hits the biker but the daughters in that movie creeps me out...she reminds me of a live version of a Chuck-E-Cheese band member.

Vegas never should have been made.

Indiana Jones (outside of the crystal skull)has to be on the if it comes on tv I’m watching it.

Major league 1 and 2 for sure. I can quote those movies all day. Some reason the waterboy always comes on right after one of my teams season ends. Like clockwork.

Fun fact.  They filmed the spring training scenes for ML2 on City Island in Harrisburg where the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals farm team) play.  Not so fun fact, sitting in baseball stands watching them film the same scenes over and over again is incredibly boring for a 12 year old kid.

Other fun fact they filmed the game scenes at camden yards in baltimore

That's right they did.  Forgot that one.

They filmed the first one out here in Tucson at hi Corbett field for the spring training portion of it. I actually met Charlie scheen during the filming of another movie he did in Tucson. Hit him in the head with the basketball by accident. My family has a running joke that’s what sent him off the deep end. Lol.

that second movie my friend’s cousin played the kid Frankie who called Ricky Vaughn a pukehead in the movie.

Good work.

Speaking of film locations and movies we've discussed.  You're probably aware that Revenge of the Nerds was filmed at UA.  They even used some of their old practice unis for the team.
