"Pepper Sauce”

I rest my case.

That's not a case.  What do you think provides the heat in almost all of the 'hot' sauces out there?  Is it not almost exclusively from the capsaicin found in peppers?   This product was marketed before the term 'hot sauce' was coined.  Why should they change their name or even packaging?

I'm going to need more convincing.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

We (the EMB) currently sit at just over 940,000 posts. We're on pace for about 40,000 posts for the month of May. So it's looking like we'll break 1,000,000 posts within the first couple of weeks of J

if it’s 6 weeks (feel like the minimum) their first four games with mayfield is doable to go 3-1 or even 4-0. They face At Carolina, vs. jets, vs Steelers and at atlanta. After that it’s vs. chargers, vs. New England, at Baltimore and vs cincy. I tend to think it’s gonna be 6-8 games.

If I'm Mayfield, I holdout until traded

Tom Cruise sucks. Only good thing he's ever done was wearing a fat suit and cursing a lot in Tropic Thunder.

Agreed

This made me laugh about Tom Cruise and Top Gun

I don’t see it happening. Maybe if they didn’t sign Brissett. I don’t see how either Mayfield or Browns would want him playing at this point.

The sell to Mayfield is that if he plays well he becomes a sought after comodity and for the Browns maybe garners more trade value.

Hell or High Water

Also the remake of 3:10 to Yuma. He was great in that.

I think the issue is how likely are the browns  going to just take a hit to cut him. They are basically locked into paying him that money unless he’s traded. So unless he becomes a malcontent to the extreme where it kills the team I’m doubting they just eat 19 mil. Cant. save 19 mil against cap post June 1.  I can’t see him becoming that type of malcontent because he’s already having a tough time in a league where QB is supreme and no one really wants him.

the thing with the trade is a QB is gonna have to get hurt on a team that believes it can win. I don’t see a team like seattle wanting to do it. They are fine with drew lock and their QB room failing so they can get someone like cj stroud one the draft next year. Carolina drafted corral and have the same issue with darnold being locked into his 5th year option. The market is limited for a guy coming off a bad season, shoulder surgery and making nearly $20 mil. Only way to save that $19 mil cap hit and dead money hit is if he’s dealt

If baker acts like a bigger dbag and coming off a bad season that required shoulder surgery (non throwing shoulder) he is going to once again have a limited market next FA. It actually might behoove him to play those games in Watson’s absence cause if he balls out he’ll be more coveted next FA period or via trade before the deadline.

If you are serious about this it does sound like a great movie

I am. It just came out on HBO not too long ago

Of course, the scene where he says "I'm Your Huckleberry" is complete fiction. Doc was in Colorado when Ringo was killed.

Tough film room with Stoutland, according to Mailata:

"It doesn’t matter what I placed on PFF last year if I’m not hitting the right assignments and plays. Which I know, because we watch it here with Stout (offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland), and Stout would never let me forget, even plays from my rookie year."

Gee... its almost like PFF doesn't actually know what the assignment was on plays and the numbers are useful for argumentation, but are mostly useless.

Moving on from movies and hot sauces.  Sadly, I don't read nearly enough.  Do you guys have any good suggestions?

@austinfan please approve so we can take this further.

If you're looking for non-fiction, I would recommend A Hero of Two Worlds by Mike Duncan. It's a biography of the Marquis de Lafayette.  Provides an interesting view of both the American and French Revolutions.  Duncan is a podcaster and not a historian.  It's well researched but easy reading.  Another great book is Ron Chernow's biography of Grant.  That is a little dense but it goes into some interesting detail about Grant's rise through the Army during the Civil War.  It really serves to put to bed the myth that Grant wasn't the same type of tactician that Lee was.  I usually go for lighter fiction like Michael Connelly's books (Bosch detective series and the Lincoln Lawyer).

Need to see the actual contract, but $10M is a lot.

Might be the most upside we’ve had at corner going into a season in a decade. Mills and darby had upside not sure either had as much upside as slay and bradberry could potentially have together.

Officially official

Let’s go!!!!!

Sucks for Mario Goodrich.

He'll need to find another jersey number.
