I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

It's one year

The reality is i think you want to see what he looks like this year in the defense before committing long term to him. Add on you have slay who’s here through at least next year (by this mean 2023) at 31 and 32. Realistically if he plays well the eagles can extend him and be set for 2023 as well. Long term the eagles still have to find and groom their eventually replacement for slay who’s likely going to be in decline at some point sooner rather than later (hopefully not until after 2023 at the earliest)

We were a playoff team last year. Bounced in the first rd. Unless Hurts takes a major step forward, this year will end like last

I agree...depending on the structure. Need to see the details. Is it "actually" 10M?

Why? It's not rolling over till next year and Eagles see window might be open to make a run in NFC so you overpay a bit.

Curious to see what the voided years are. Cause I can’t imagine there aren’t voided years on that deal

Much better

Bradberry is a very good zone CB, of which we ran the most in the league last year. Slay, Bradberry, Maddox is a sick nickel package.

Eagles getting a comp pick for Bradberry eventually too

Yeah that 2.5 million really makes a difference lmao

Not sure, the source was from 1931, so there's some questions, and that site is a bit dubious.

He could have said it, but he didn't say it to Johnny Ringo.

We were the tenth worst team in the NFC, which got you into the post season.  We weren't a "playoff" team as the term would suggest.

So far we have added Brown, Davis, Dean, Reddick, White, and now Bradberry.  Only losses of note are Nelson and McLeod.

We are already better than last year.  Hurts needn't take a "major" step forward for us to actually earn the "playoff" adjective.

They could also look at Bradberry at FS, similar to Jenkins. Optionality. They fill a hole, audition Bradberry for an extension and see how his skills might fit going forward.

And it buys a year to evaluate and develop a slew of young, athletic DBs without having to throw them into the fire.

I’m guessing if he plays well they want to extend him. He likely is still in his prime another 3-4 years. So if it works out  then bradberry is ideally here when they move on from slay when he declines. Would allow for the eagles to not have to replace both starting corners at the same time.

Tom Cruise sucks. Only good thing he's ever done was wearing a fat suit and cursing a lot in Tropic Thunder.

Tom Cruise has made a bunch of good movies.  I'm not a fan of a lot of his action movies but he's been in some good films.  All of his early films were pretty good.

Eagles currently have $10,108,818 in cap space.  So that takes it to basically zero until the Fletcher Cox June 1 cut on the original contract savings kick in.  That should then put the Eagles back to 16 million in cap space June 1st.  Eagles currently have $3,817,255 in 2023 cap space.

I think we win the division with who we added and who the cowgirls lost. They're worst then they were last season

Reminder: we're a good franchise.
