So that takes it to basically zero until the Fletcher Cox June 1 cut on the original contract savings kick in. That should then put the Eagles back to 16 million in cap space June 1st. Eagles currently have $3,817,255 in 2023 cap space. I'm assuming Hargrave will get an extension shortly to lower is cap hit

They fill a hole, audition Bradberry for an extension and see how his skills might fit going forward. And it buys a year to evaluate and develop a slew of young, athletic DBs without having to throw them into the fire. I think the difference is jenkins at Ohio state played corner and safety. So he had experience at both. I don’t remember but i don’t think bradberry even dating back to college has ever played safety. Coming out there were questions if he’d stay at corner or move to safety. But he played well at corner in his career. Feels like when people just kept saying Sheldon brown would move to safety when he was done at corner. Maybe he does but i tend to think he’s going to be corner here. I think they like Epps more than others. I think Harris is a stop gap. They obviously wanted Marcus Williams. I think Harris was their fall back plan B with what the safety market looked like and look to address it next year second part i agree with. I don’t think any of those guys were ready to be nfl starters this year. Get them to learn from bradberry and slay. Hope it rubs off on them and they make strides for 2023. If bradberry plays well I’m guessing they extended him as he’s 28. Also allows when slay declines or want to get out of his deal after 2023 they still have a good starting corner that fits the system. Wouldn’t have to replace two starting corners.
May 18, 20223 yr If QB1 gets it together then we are in a great position. That’s a big if though. This roster outside of QB would be NFC favorites.

All of his early films were pretty good. He was IN a few good movies. They were not good movies BECAUSE of him. I'm having a hard time thinking of one of his films where he was a really good/couldn't have easily been replaced. Imagine how much more realistic Mission Impossible could have been if the main protagonist was tall enough to ride a roller coaster.

May 18, 20223 yr This team reloaded (on paper at least) in less than two years after the disaster that was 2020, firing Doug, and eating the Wentz contract. Front office deserves credit for that.

It sucks that the only real question mark on the roster (besides safety, arguably), we can’t talk about for like 4 more months. What’s everyone’s favorite brand of toilet paper?

I would pump the breaks a bit, Bradberry was not that good last year, still have a major hole at both safety spots. Also dependent on Kelce and Lane staying healthy.

I see what you did there lol when I brought this up the reason why I said I’ve enjoyed his older movies because he played a variety of roles and there were a lot of good films. Unique films. He didnt just do one role but with a different title (sometimes not even a different title). Somewhere between 2003 and 2006 he just went for the same shtick role. Except for Tropic thunder. I give him credit he was awesome as les grossman

May 18, 20223 yr I'd like to see Slay move to Safety in a few years and stay in Philly. His leadership, intellect and the way he mentors players is a huge boon for that secondary.

Tbh how great of a season the eagles have is going to come down to QB play. Defense should be better with the additions they made and not getting torched by good opposing offense. I’d actually argue outside of QB and RB, the eagles have more talent on offense than the packers
