I'm having a hard time thinking of one of his films where he was a really good/couldn't have easily been replaced. Imagine how much more realistic Mission Impossible could have been if the main protagonist was tall enough to ride a roller coaster. The Outsiders, Risky Business, Born on the 4th of July, War of the Worlds, Top Gun, The Firm, Edge of Tomorrow, A Few Good Men, Valkyrie...I mean you may not like any of those movies but he was in them and played the roles well. It was dumb for him to play Jack Reacher and the first Mission Impossible movie is good but the rest are kind of just meh.

Also dependent on Kelce and Lane staying healthy. Bradberry is an average at best man CB. But in zone, he’s really quite good.

His leadership, intellect and the way he mentors players is a huge boon for that secondary. I get that. However going back to the days of Sheldon brown people have wanted that and it usually never happens that way with the eagles. I believe people said the same thing with Troy Vincent for some of the same reasons you mentioned with slay. I tend to think the eagles wouldn’t want to pay slay the money to learn how to play a new position at 32-33. I think the plan is more likely hope Epps pans out this year and then address safety next year. they thought they’d hit on Williams but missed out. I’m guessing they likely try to hit at safety next year then move on from harris.

Mostly good movies and Cruise wasn't terrible in any that I can think of. Just don't think he really adds anything not easily replaceable in any of em though. Jimmy Garappolo of actors.

May 18, 20223 yr Gannon shouldn't be here in a year. With these moves he should either look good enough to get that HC job or they should fire him for not looking that good.

Both are very similar stories (focusing on drug trafficking from Colombia.) In fact, there's a scene in The Infiltrator that features the same character from American Made. One movie made $134 million, more than doubling it's budget. The other made $20 million, losing $8 million. That's the difference between Tom Cruise and any other actor.

If it's actually $10 million then the Eagles have $24 million tied up in Cox and Bradberry on 1-year deals. Bradberry IMO, is a get over the hump, need a final piece to win the SB kind of signing. His future is not with the Eagles. I'm sure he'll help the Eagles secure pick 18 but if Howie really wanted to see all of his investments in young CB develop then this is a mistake.

May 18, 20223 yr Not nearly as excited as I was when we got Slay, and probably overpaid for him a bit, but meh, I'll still take it.
